About Rohan:

Rohan is a much loved and iconic British travel and outdoor clothing brand with a heritage spanning more than four decades. Established by two outdoor enthusiasts in North Yorkshire in 1972, Rohan set out to challenge the status quo. With five founding principles that clothing should always be protective, lightweight, packable, versatile and easy-care, Rohan radically re-thought the way people dressed for the outdoors.

Have bought Rohan stuff for years. Always good. However the recent slimmer cut to the regular trousers doesn't suite everyone. Too tight the legs.

Always like what I purchase. Chose to collect in store which was fine. I was expecting to be told when part of the order would arrive in store but it was all there when I visited the store.

I’ve tried the triggers and the t shirt on and they are just what I wanted. I bought them for warmer times and as yet have not worn either product.

I really love a great deal about Rohan products. Not cheap by any means but great quality and brilliant fabrics. I literally have loads of their trousers. That said I regret that the cut of their trousers does not suit me at the moment. The trousers are very narrow to the extent that they do not fall properly on the leg. I was really looking forward to purchasing a pair of their chinos but having received them found they were hopeless. Rohan has gone over the top in trying to keep up with current styles in the high street but does not seem to understand that this is not necessarily their place. A great pity!

The Rohan stretch bags are a very good product as the pockets are large easily accessible and robust. The stretch in the trousers has added another dimension to the standard bags..great colours too

Well now, how do I say this? I’m an odd shape!!!!! I am not into all this skinny leg and clingy bum stuff for women, so regular high street retail shopping is not for me. I visited Rohan in Edinburgh at the start of 2019, desperate by this stage to find some trousers to fit my shape and to feel comfortable for my trip to Glencoe. I found women’s roamers size 10......now there’s a trouser to be proud of. I was in shock trying them on and seeing how they fit and flattered every part of my odd shape......I came out of the changing room dancing and ecstatic ! ( the sales guy had a smile on his face and politely left me to celebrate!) I left the store with 2 pairs of normal and one pair of dry roamers and I’m now set for years! Thank you Rohan ! PS. I’m not really ‘odd’ just size 12 waist with size 10 hips and leg length between short and regular. I look a little like a short telegraph pole! Lol

Love the long sleeve Essence Ts: I’m tall and get fed up of short length tops (& Rohan shirts are too short for me). I like to keep my back warm when walking. These Ts also nice for office wear. Love the walking trousers, but the recent town-wear are “boy cut” and no good for me, sadly. I’ve got hips and a waist!

I have loads of Rohan clothes and have been buying them for years, so obviously I think they are good. They are generally well-made and lightweight and the service is excellent. I’ve found the outer coats and jackets to be very good, not too heavy, and usually with plenty of big zipped pockets. However, the micro rib fleece used for the zip jackets and tops has changed over the years. I have several and the ones from 10 or more years ago still show hardly any signs of wear, whereas the more recent ones are thinner and look worn at the elbows and on the back where I carry a backpack, and some are pilling. They are harder than the previous ones to slip on over a long sleeved top. For some reason there is no shop in Bristol but I find it’s risky to order online as sizes of eg jeans and Troggings are not consistent from year to year so it’s always necessary to try them on. The length of trousers is not consistent and I find the new design of having the ends of the waist cord on the inside of the Troggings is too fiddly and was better before.

I love most of your clothes, jackets, coats macs, but trousers, never fit properly. The just below waist style are forever falling down, particularly the jeans. I am only just over 5 foot and the short fit is more uncomfortable than the regular. Please just do the trousers to the waist. Troggings are the same they need extra depth in the crotch.

Dissapointed ! Rohan have spoilt the only lightweight fleece they make. The Microgrid top fabric has changed from a genuine breathable year round sucess to a thin fleece with a wooly pile inside surface. Not the same at all. Mine is going straight back .Ordered on line ,it is not the same garment and will never replace my well worn 3 year old original. Come on Rohan have you ruined your most successful top? Change is not always progress!

I have been a dedicated user of Rohan products for over 30 years. My favourite all purpose trousers over the last five years and longer has been the Fusion Trousers. I was disappointed that the detailing on my latest pair bought online has adopted a Jean style pocket, with patch pockets to the rear. I much preferred the more classic vertical side pockets which give my older pairs a bit more versatility; and can pass as urban wear when combined with a jacket.

Like their clothing; practical and stylish. I would have given them 5* if they did a petite range, as dresses and shirts are made for women taller than I (5' 2"). Michelle and the other staff at the Kingston store are always friendly and helpful. Always worth shopping at the Souk...!

They have really well made, highly functional, light weight clothing. I have been buying Rohan stuff for perhaps 20 years and have rarely if ever been disappointed. My fairly minor criticisms are: some of the prices are a bit steep (but there are fairly frequent sales); they don't do enough for fat men - I am one, and I still exercise quite a bit, including hill walking and cycling. Roll on the Rohan Braces for the man whose waist is a distant memory!

Service, price, quality excellent. Downside? Too many emails following a purchase - sales follow the usual trend i.e mainly comprise unpopular or slow moving stock Improvements could be made with regard to range - colours and patterns on certain items - not every one favours the 'lumberjack ' look.

The item I ordered arrived very quickly. The negative was that I had to phone to place an order because the website wouldn't let me. This has happened to me before.

Quality excellent, as usual. Annoyed that we’re reduced in the sale 48 hours later, but that’s life I suppose. Gripe: Rohan - get PayPal will you!
