“I am relatively new to Rohan but an uncle of mine who was a countryside ranger for his entire career has sworn by them since the very beginning. I'm living in the South Atlantic atm and the conditions are usually extreme and I feel that we need the best clothing for the technical challenges that come with this climate and that's where Rohan come in! And then there is the customer service, impressive is a word that springs to mind, if you experience it as I have you will understand why. I have already recommended Rohan to several others and have also bought some for my wife.”

“Please re-work your flex jeans with a zip fly rather than buttons. There is no advantage to buttons and we have ceased to expect them on most men's leg wear. The material is indeed comfortable but the main pockets are slightly too shallow. Rohan has always staked its reputation on function rather than fashion for its own sake. I know I am not alone in thinking that the flex jeans have moved too far towards fashion and away from function.”

“I ordered 3 pairs of trouser in the size as per your size guide. All far too big and larger than estates measurements, therefore all returned. Ordered 1 pair in smaller size- these fit perfectly and are great.”

“I have worn Rohan clothes since they were first on sale. What seems expensive on initial purchase becomes real value for money as they last so long. I have microgird tops, boxer shorts and bags shorts that are over 12 years of ages (SS08) and still functioning as well as when originally purchased. My only complaint is the way they update their shorts (which I wear all year round) all the time and you get a pair that are ideal and then the next season something changes for no apparent reason. Hence 4 and not 5 stars”

“We have been buying Rohan clothing for many years and generally we've been very impressed. I do prefer visiting a Rohan store as colours don't always come true on the website - this can prove expensive from a buyer's point of view. We appreciated the postage free deal during the lock down last year but sadly you didn't feel able to offer the same this time. I have had to return both items ordered due to colour difference from the website.”

“Have worn your clothes for many many years. They have always proved absolutely reliable in all weathers. On a remote Falkland Island I was pleased to meet a sheep farmers wife who was wearing a Rohan jacket -it felt very friendly and familiar. However I would say that practicality has sometimes been put before choice , colour and cut as far as the women’s range is concerned. Loyalty has influenced my selection although I have liked some of the competitors designs. Rohan has served us well for more than 40 years. Josephine Fuller”

“As Rohan sell so many different products, it would be really helpful if it were possible to search on key words, such as jackets for winter use, or trousers suitable for summer. As I only buy online at present, I sometimes find the product different to my expectation, as online photos only help so far.”

“I found the coat to be not as warm as I had anticipated, which is disappointing. Also, I suggest that you do not have the zip going all the way down to the bottom of the coat, but to stop at knee-length to facilitate running.”

“Generally their products are first class but lately there appears to be a less than normal quality item offered and their sizing doesn’t appear to be as it used to. However, all said they do produce quality clothing albeit at a price. To their credit complaints are dealt with in a timely and professional way and their customer service is second to none.”

“We've been buying rohan for many years now. The quality is consistently good. Materials used are excellent, in fact as long as you don't change shape (!) garments are a V good investment. Always read REVIEWS where possible, recently sizes /cut haven't been consistent across range. The SALE? Certainly worth thinking about.”

“Good quality outdoor and travel wear. A little more stylish than some of other outdoor wear shops, especially linen summer clothes. Always happy to give advice and exchange and refund. Only downside is price - a bit expensive but clothes do last. Size range was great until recently when they stopped making clothes in Extra Small so I shall not be able to buy any more fleeces etc.”
