About Rohan:

Rohan is a much loved and iconic British travel and outdoor clothing brand with a heritage spanning more than four decades. Established by two outdoor enthusiasts in North Yorkshire in 1972, Rohan set out to challenge the status quo. With five founding principles that clothing should always be protective, lightweight, packable, versatile and easy-care, Rohan radically re-thought the way people dressed for the outdoors.

I have a number of Rohan products. As advertised - They are very practical, hard-wearing and lightweight etc. Their customer service has always been good - in shop or online. However there are often niggles for me about some garments - probably due to cost cutting and reducing weight, or both. Women's bliuses/shirts have very small and fiddly buttons/buttonholes, the internal chest pockets are often too small and easy access not helped by stiff fiddly zips. Likewise some trousers have a textured button at the top rather than a press stud, which is very difficult to manage when one might be in a hurry and have cold wet hands! Do women ever use a back pocket on trousers - or a pocket at the back of the leg?! I'm not a particularly girlie woman, but do feel I'm wearing clothes basically designed for men all the time with eg drop in shoulder rather than raglan sleeves - at least raglan occasionally would be nice!

Easy to purchase on line I like the hidden zip pocket and the expanding waistband on the linen trousers and culottes I purchased But my refund for items returned in store is very slow, it's been 7 working days now and I haven't heard anything.

Excellent gear, always. However, get caught out every once in a while with sizing..!!! Do i never purchase now because heading off! But thank you for coming up with innovative clothing every season!

I find the shorts comfortable and a good fit but I can’t fasten the press stud. I’m using a belt to cover up the fastening. I have arthritic hands and find fastenings difficult. Over the years your clothes have had buttons or bar hooks.

Love Rohan clothes. Sizes are a little bit suspect so I always have online purchases delivered to local Rohan store so I can try them on. Prices prior to sales are expensive so I always wait for sales.

Great products, good prices when in their sales. Website could be more customer focussed -by that I mean it would be useful to enter filter ctiteria at the start e.g. "trousers (pants) 38 long" and then be shown only those products with those sizes available. So many tmes I click on the product, the colour required only to find none left in my size. An annoying wast of time imho. What has hsppened to the classic, stone coloured bags (trousers), please?

Website works every time. Usually wait for the sales. What I am frustrated with though is that numerous times I have bought an item or two on the 'sale' and then I get an email 2 days later when the product(s) have been dropped another £5 or so when I have not even acquired what I had originally bought...!! This is VERY annoying. You should stick to one sale and get your bottom end prices out once only and not this contant revision of your pricing. Your constant pricing revisions is also very frustrating I would think for your shop staff who have to change everything multiple times during one sales session.

Quality products but pricey unless you catch a sale. I am glad to see that you have very recently started giving warning that a sale is about to finish. I had a sale item in the basket last month only for it to go back to RRP overnight without warning. Not very good business practice!

Rohan's clothing never fails to deliver with its performance-can be a little bit hidden miss on sizing but as a serial buyer I can't fault them. The staff at the Kingston branch are knowledgeable and very helpful Plus they're always willing to offer suggestions. Where Rohan lets themselves down is with delivery. It is painfully slow. If you order for it go to the shops it can take a stupid amount of time and even when you have delivery to your home address it's not really any faster. Always buy in store is my top tip!

Often buy shirts from Rohan, in the 'small' size as they fit my frame extremely well. Unfortunately I had to return two Zenith shirts as they were too small - skimpy around the chest and tight underneath the armpits (no, I've not put on any weight). I originally left the same message on Rohan's 0800 840 1411 number on 5/7/24 and was surprised the company didn't respond.

Reliable service but expensive to mail items to hom eaddress. I don't have a Rohan shop tto near me so I can't have it delivered. MAjor gripe is that at sale time, the sizes I require are almost bever available in anything from shoes, to tops to trousers to underwear. That can be and is quite annoying. Perhaps showing limited sizes up front on each item would be less disappointing?

They are a good Company and delivery is usually on time when advised. I think I have now 12 sets of the trousers which is a bit OTT but I find sales time difficult to resist. As I walk a lot they do get torn and cannot be repaired and have a well worn look so they move down the line from best wear to gardening but I find it difficult to discard them!

I buy a lot of Rohan gear, expensive but lasts well and good security. What I miss are the old check lightweight boxers which felt like cotton and are particularly cool in hot weather. Your aether underwear is tight, clingy and uncomfortable.

I have just received my Dry Ranger trousers, in Moorland Brown. In construction these appear similar to the 2 pairs of Dry Ascent trousers I have been using for the last 12 years and which are still pretty good at keeping me dry, so I have no problem with the technology; but I do have a problem with the sizing. I am a walking advertisement for Rohan with almost all of my non-formal wardrobe being Rohan and, apart from a faulty pair of trousers I once received, I can't remember ever having a sizing problem - 36R trousers always fit me. I tried on my Dry Ranger trousers and they were so long I immediately thought they were faulty, or 36L had been mis-tagged - until I measured the inside leg and, indeed, it is 31". Whatever way these trousers are designed it has the effect of making the legs too long for normal use, but 36S will almost certainly be too short. I love the design of the trousers and plan to keep them; I may get them shortened by my local seamstress but, as I will be wearing them with walking boots and gaiters most of the time, the extra length may not be a problem; they are not wearable with normal shoes at the length they are. One reason I have so many Rohan clothes is that they always fit. The design team need to take heed of this comment, and a couple of other reviews that complain about length, or they will lose my business if kit doesn't fit properly; it's easier for me to go to Cotswold Outdoor or Go-Outdoors and try things on than have stuff sent that is inconsistent sizing. As an aside my wife, who also has an extensive Rohan wardrobe, has been complaining about inconsistent sizing for the last couple of years or so.

Very happy. I bought some global T shirts as one seemed to keep me cool but also warm. They are fantastic, they keep me cool & draw the sweat from the skin. My teenage children are now keen takers! Even better in the sale & with built in SPF a real bonus.

I love the way these clothes wash and dry especially when travelling. Some of the colours are a bit bizarre but I avoid those. Rohan needs to bring back their original lined winter jeans, the so called Nordic jeans are hopeless. The feel cold in a warm room.
