“I first bought Rohan clothing when I used to travel abroad frequently. I liked the zipped security pockets, and the comfortable, easy-care styles. I have continued to buy Rohan because of the durability of the clothing. My only criticisms are that the styles change too frequently with old favourites no longer being available, and there seems to be a move away from everyday wear towards adventure clothing.”

“Should have gone for a size 8 but I am very loath to return items...10 usually fits but Rohan seems to be generous when it comes to size. The jeans are very comfortable.”

“Fantastic customer service on sales and no quibble return policy for new products. Some of the products are amazing - my first thoughts include a lightweight barricade coat that is both stylish and completely waterproof, also some walking shoes that are amazing. Also some very smart trousers. Unfortunately not all the products are as good. I have had coats that absorb water like a sponge (this is barricade too), trousers that lose colour after a few washes, jumpers/ jackets that go clumpy ( the surface rather than smooth develops a bitty surface that looks old/ worn very quickly). Despite the advertising - the shops don’t really want to know about these issues. In the case of the trousers i was advised to dye them. Many of the products are very frumpy/ old fashioned (you have a near 70 year old saying this!!).”

“I've bought Rohan clothing for a number of years and find them comfortable and practical and generally of a very good quality. I do avoid buying the fleece products as they tend to go bobbly very quickly. I am a medium size and whilst the tops and jackets fit well, the shirts tend to be a bit smaller so again I try to avoid them or try them in the shop. When I have had any problems with anything I've bought the shop staff have always been extremely helpful.”

“Would like to see more eco packaging used. Less non-recyclable plastics, use of cardboard packaging or boxes. Fast courier delivery service, and helpful customer service. Use of sustainable fabrics for clothing and boots, where possible”

“Order was for same two tops in different colours. Both were supposed to be large but they were different sizes. Will not order online again. Only going to wear around house could not be bothered to send back.”

“Good website, simple to navigate and purchase. Returns let down due to the incompetence of Royal Mail. Suggest using a courier who make label free returns simple. Otherwise all good. Their Henley branch are excellent and I'll make the trip in future.”

“I've been buying Rohan clothes for outdoor pursuits for many years, and find them generally very good quality and comfortable to wear. I can't always find a good fit, but that's a personal thing: tops are often on the short side for me, and some trousers are (surprisingly) on the long side: I'm 5'7" so I usually go for Regular or Long in other brands, but some of my recent Rohan regular length trousers are a bit too long.”

“Stretch bags are good quality and well made, only drawback is that the rear pockets are too deep, put anything in them its below your backside and you end up sitting on it”

“Long standing customer of Rohan. Excellent quality. Very hard wearing, my 'bags' have lasted many years and are still my go to trecking trousers. Raincoat, grid fleeces, jackets etc all really good. Colour range recently has not been inspiring I'm afraid either dark which is OK or very soft pastels that I don't like. Rohan was a pioneer in outdoor gear but brands have similar products now. Still the best though.”

“Website is very good except for the size guide which is not correct. I already had 4 pairs of Troggings and wanted more so I checked the guide and bought the size I always have, 14 regular. The navy pair are OK just a bit bigger than usual but the brown pair were far too big, measuring 18inches across at the waist. As they are supposed to fit a 33 inch waist, it was not a surprise that I had to return them. When the sizes change there should be a note on the page. The prices are high at Rohan so the goods must reflect top quality.”
