We deal with large amounts of goods on a daily basis via our physical stores, established mail order website www.rimmersmusic.co.uk and dedicated education sales division with education catalogue (distributed to over 26,000 schools and Music Services all over the country). 
We also have stores on EBAY and Amazon retailing musical instruments.

We offer delivery and collection services for all products to make the process of getting your new instrument and part exchanging your old instrument easy. We use next day delivery and collection services for most items, via various courier companies we have accounts with.

Via these couriers we give tracking information for timed delivery slots (in most cases). We also sell specialist items that require an additional level of delivery service, items such as acoustic upright or grand pianos. These specialist delivery items are delivered by our trained team of experts who know how to handle items of this nature, are fully insured, professional and give our customers the installation with the care and attention they deserve.

Delivered bang on time. Guitar works & sounds great. But disappointed to find a fair few scratches on the pick guard. Not worth messing about repackaging an returning it. Just have to put up with it. Would have been five stars but for scratches.

They had a cheaper price than everyone else however I have paid the difference in postage both for delivery and a return. I’ve been inundated with sales emails from them but not many replies to my questions. I return something recently and paid the difference for something else. They charged me a little bit more than was Quoted in the email. I am now eagerly awaiting the replacement product and have heard nothing.

I would have rated this Good or even Very Good if it hadn't been for the amount this whole transaction and experience became inconvenient and so quickly too. I ordered a digital piano from Rimmers in the Christmas holiday. I spent many hours researching who was best to order from and in the end, was so blinded by choice that I decided to go with Rimmers mainly because they were the only company offering New Year's Day delivery (as stated on their website). I placed the order and then received an automated confirmation email from them which stated that they actually would not be delivering on New Year's Day. A direct contradiction of what was stated on their website. Immediately I emailed them to find out what was going on and stating that this was the only reason I ordered from them and if it couldn't be honoured, I'd be asking for a refund (not a small amount of money either at over £700). The next day I received a phone call from someone at Rimmer's saying "of course couriers don't work on New Year's Day". I explained that A) I wasn't a courier or in the retail industry so would not have known this, B) there website actually stated "NEW YEAR'S DAY" as an option on the drop down list and I was charged for that particular day and C) that it was the only reason that I wanted to use them so would want a refund. He then admitted that it was a known problem (why not get it fixed then), and that I could have the following Saturday instead. Reluctantly I agreed to this and he then tried to charge me another £18 for that date! I refused and told him that they had already received payment for delivery and he eventually agreed to have it delivered that day at no extra charge. I work full time. I only have one day on the weekend (usually a Sunday) off but changed this to the Saturday so that I could receive the (7am-7pm) delivery. I received confirmation that the digital piano had left Rimmer's and was now with TNT. I could track its progress. From the moment I checked its progress that Saturday morning, I knew it wasn't going to arrive. According to the TNT tracking page, it was still awaiting collection in the depot which is a full 5-6hours drive from my house. 7pm came and went and there was no delivery. I couldn't even call anyone to see what was going on because, despite still operating over the weekends, apparently there is no way of contacting ANYONE at TNT OR Rimmer's! In the end I had to leave a rather disgruntled message on Rimmer's social media page which was responded to the next day. I got a call from Rimmer's on the Monday after the weekend the delivery was expected and it was luck that I was on my lunch break and able to answer my phone. He told me that the piano had actually been delivered and signed for at my house. I explained that I was at work so who had signed for it when I expressly told them that I could not receive a delivery, especially of that value, during the week because I was at work. Turned out that by some dumb luck, my cleaner had arrived a couple of hours later than she normally does and was there when it had arrived. She knew I'd been waiting for it and signed for me so it could be safely delivered indoors. I dread to think what would have happened if she had not have been there.

Hi I'm so sorry that things have not gone as we would like and that you are disappointed. Unfortunately our system has allowed you to select a custom delivery date, which in your case was New Years day. Our system shouldn't allow dates such as Christmas day, New Years day to be selected as they are not available delivery dates due to the fact that they are not working days and therefore couriers are unable to deliver on those days. We did upgrade your delivery at our expense and unfortunately our courier did let us down for which I sincerely apologise. They were running behind due to Christmas deliveries and did deliver on the next available day. Item was not in stock as stated so had to wait. Item was a gift but arrived unpackaged, no bag or wrapping of any discription to desquise what the item was. Item was clearly visible for all to see including the gift recipient thus spoiling any surprise.

I purchased 2 Novopro Moon Bulbs. On inspection, after their arrival one failed to work!!!! My two main concerns are: Who ever delivered them to my house left them "disgarded " in a small shrub opposite my front door! And, yes, I was at home all day!!!!! Also, I consider the packaging of the Moon Bulbs (OR LACK OF IT) probably the reason for one of to be damaged and not working. Inside the flimsy plastic delivery bag THERE WAS NO PADDING/BUBBLE WRAP, SO THE BULBS WERE AFFORDED LITTLE OR NO PROTECTION FROM KNOCKS OR IMPACTS OF ANY KIND DURING THEIR TRANSIT TO ME. Poor, poor show Rimmers. I will be contacting them to ask for a refund for the damaged goods

I ordered two products on two separate occasions. First arrived as expected following advert stated on the site. Second I am still waiting for. It was not clear that there would be delay when ordering of almost a week. I was called to say it would be delayed however a more upto date stock check upon ordering would have been good. Faultless Barr this.

What’s the point of having ‘make an offer’ on ebay if every time it is declined, even 50p less! Cheap way of enticing customers with no actual financial benefit to them. Will ignore in future.

My godson is very happy with the product I ordered for him. However your website needs reviewing as it allows (against your wishes) payment by an international credit card sourced on a bank ex-UK - in my case Mastercard and ABN-AMRO bank in The Netherlands. I had my order cancelled as a result even though successful. Confusing and time-wasting as I had to enter into further communications with yourselves and the receiving party and make an international bank transfer. Getting ready for Brexit perhaps? :-)

Easy to order and fast delivery. However they forgot to deliver the stool with the piano and due to the online customer service opening hours, I struggled to get a chance to call and let them know.

Excellent product. Excellent delivery and packing. Appalling after-sales service. I needed a bit of advice on how to programme a few points so I rang Rimmers and had the misfortune to come across what passes for an advisor these days. He had no idea how to solve the problem but said he'd ring me back either later that afternoon or the next day. That was a week ago. I'm still waiting for his call. Fortunately I was able to sort the problem out myself. I shan't be dealing with Rimmers again.

My first order with Rimmers, great prices and customer service. Unfortunatly, due to stock shortage and goods being despatched direct from supplier there was a mix up with delivery address (I specified a different to invoice address) I did get everything and quickly but only by good luck as I had not intended to be home on the day of delivery. These things happen occasionally and won't put me off ordering again with Rimmers.

Rimmers warehouse forgot to inform them that my guitar was out of stock so after about 8 working days I decided something was wrong and contacted rimmers who cleared the problem and I got my guitar 3 days later as promised. Now, as for the guitar, it's just fantastic and at a very very good price. So, I will be doing more business with rimmers in the future and I recommend them but they need to sort out their ordering system. Cheers Darren

Made an order online and after a week no delivery or communication, so I contacted them and was told they sent an email 2 days after my order, which I disputed. Later I was told the email had a typo in my addy and thus I never got it. After a few weeks and emails/calls I did get my guitar. But next day got an email from them telling me they still did not have my guitar. I wrote this email back; Not sure why I was sent this email AGAIN, as it was originally sent to me on the 26th. I actually (finally) had delivery of the F200B guitar yesterday. I checked it over and found 2 very minor defects, one on the volume control which I have already corrected my self. The other was a very tiny mark on the back of the body. The guitar sounds very good and has a nice action. I am very pleased with it and will be holding on to it. I must admit, I was on the verge of asking for a refund and buying it from GAK. Looking at you reviews it seems most transactions go trouble free. The main reason for problems is the fact that your website does not state if the item is in stock or not. Even your staff seem to have difficulty finding out if an item is in stock. Last and not least, communication with your customer (or rather lack of it). This is a major problem. I will say that you do reply quite fast on emails, and we did get there in the end. However, I doubt if we would have got there in the same time period without me constantly sending you emails and pushing for delivery. But, we did get there and I am now a happy man.

I ordered a product that was listed as being in stock, only to receive an email shortly afterwards to say that the item wasn't actually in stock after all. Admittedly, the communication was good and the item did eventually arrive a few days later than anticipated, but the company should perhaps review its inventory management system.

Good things first Great price, nice on the phone, good finance options Bad points Took Just over 14 days to arrive, didn’t call back regarding query, no gig bag included as stated, website gives the impression that guitars etc are in stock, they are not always! This was my third attempt to get the Bass guitar ordered, I received an option to review, trouble was it was a week before the item arrived, all be it incomplete, I waited as I really didn’t wish to leave negative feedback, unfortunately this is a semi negative review as there have been some good points, and some not so good, I have been honest in my points raised herein, I will use rimmers again in the future if the price is best, as it was here, but I will know things may take longer to materialise than expected.

We have ordered two items second is still to be delivered as was out of stock, despite the website that stated it is, we only know it will be delivered min April now and as for the piano meant to be delivered on Saturday as per phone call to Rimmers and delivery was attempted on Thursday when noone was at home and then on Friday - I was able to stay behind before school pick up but that was lucky as was only just leaving when TNT arrived to deliver. All in all not great, could have been better.

They advertised an item as available for next day delivery. This turned out not to be the case. However, they were very helpful on the phone and cancelled the order and refunded the money promptly.

We say on our website to allow 7 days for delivery of strings, this option is FREE delivery. To keep the price low we post strings via Royal Mail Second Class. We make this very clear on the item and confirmation email. We evan say please allow 7 days for your order to arrive. To send strings that retail for £5.00 on a next day delivery service is possible and we offer this on our website for a £5.00 extra charge. This customer picked the 7 day delivery option. All items over £25.00 are Free delivery and most are next day. This feedback rating is unfair as we have not done anyrhing wrong.
