“Kay Martin at the Retirement Desk was extremely helpful in sorting out my annuity. She dealt with everything in a friendly and professional manner, always keeping me informed at every step of the process, and took all the stress away for me. She gave me confidence that I was in good hands, as I had been a bit anxious about getting this organised. Everything was set up in good time, and I'm very happy with the outcome. 5 stars for Kay!”

“The person who helped me through this pension process was Lisa O'beirne. We discussed what I wanted to do with my pension and what was the best annuity at that time to use. She was very helpful and explained my options so that I understood exactly what was going to happen. Very polite all the time as was other members of the team that I spoke to.”

“Lisa O'Beirne was my primary point of contact and negotiator. She asked the relevant questions to enable me to make the best choice of pension for my needs and then carried out whatever was necessary to get the best deal for me. If she was unavailable my calls were dealt with by her Co worker and she always got back to me ASAP. I would recommend this firm to anyone as they were so helpful and efficient.”

“What an absolute pleasure working with Lisa O'Beirne! Lisa was very well prepared for our face-to-face meeting having ascertained what I was looking for beforehand by phone and e-mail. Various quotes were prepared for us and Lisa explained the features and benefits of each one fully. No pressure was ever placed on us; Lisa's communication was very prompt, her answers were full and complete and at no time did I think my numerous questions may be too much. I would trust Lisa implicitly in the future. As well as being absolutely super efficient, she has an ebullient disposition, always smiley and cheerful; it was an absolute pleasure to work with her. “Our advisor Lisa O’Beirne was very professional and extremely helpful. If Lisa said she would phone , email or send documents in the post she did it. When she said she would. Which in this day and age is fabulous. Was always courteous when talking to us and even apologised for AON’s errors. Would highly recommend Lisa to our friends and family.”

“we where very unsure about changing our pension company but I have to say they where very professional and the staff so helpful and understanding I would highly recommend anyone to use them. we are not very clued up on pensions but they managed to explain everything to us in simple terms we did understand and sort out all our problems cant thank them enough for there weekly communication with us 1st class”

“Brilliant service from Kay at The Retirement Desk. She helped me through the process of annuity purchase when I was very unsure if it was right product for me. Kay provided me with all the facts & figures clearly & concisely and was incredibly patient when I changed the income figures/term, requoting as necessary. She allowed me all the time I needed to research other options with other providers without chasing me or hurrying me along for a decision. Once I had made my decision the process was done & dusted efficiently and very quickly. Thank you Kay!”

“The Retirement Desk have been helpful, informative, understanding and timely in arranging my pension. They have shown reassuring knowledge of dealing with multiple providers and making the process so much less painful than it certainly could have been. Would I recommend them? Yes, wholeheartedly. To be honest I wonder why anyone would ever consider not using them. Email, post and telephone as required: all just worked.”
