“It got some really quick responses, which is what I wanted. But I doubt that the quoted prices will bear much relationship with the final quotes because a 3 bedroomed home could have minimal furniture or be overflowing with furniture and objects. It could also be 1200 sq feet or 2500 sq feet. So the question is probably too simplistic”

“It is important to know that the originators of this site are not removal experts. At best they will pass your details to removal firms who will contact you. It is then up to you to talk to anyone that contacts you. Be wary of companies that appear to offer their services for what appear to be low costs. Moving is expensive. The people doing it should offer insurance against loss and damage, and it is very important to tell them about EVERYTHING you want moved. Don't forget the sit on mower, that will certainly cost you more. Get more than one quote from the actual moving companies. Preferably get them to see what you re taking. Those that work in offices rarely have t he knowledge to know what is actually involved in the process. Movers turning up with one van and two men, to discover that two vans and four men are needed, are not going to be very pleased. If you are not an expert in the business do not imagine that the contents of a normal home will fit into a small van. They rarely will. TALK to the moving company”

“Had 4 Conveyancing companies from yourselves to choose from went with Bishopsgate law not the cheapest but had best reviews. So far they have been very helpful nothing too much and always polite. Hope this carries on with the sale and buying of the properties will be more than happy thank you .”

“Web site gave me three interested companies for a move from teh south coast to the Miidlands. One replied straightaway, visited two days later and send me a quotation very quickly. One company failed to respond at all. Another said he would ring back (I had to contact him to remind him he was ringing me back) and later visited but has never sent me a quotation. So only one quotation out of three companies is not good!”
