“Very disappointed to receive 2 bottles of lousy NAS Glenturret, as did my friends. It feels as if you couldn't sell these bottles so came up with this lottery idea. But there is no random factor here, since too many of these bottles arrived in one country, and I personally got 2 of them! You should have made a much better bottle spread. I do not feel there was a fair ballot here.”

“In good faith, I purchased a bottle from the supposed 'lucky dip' they were running to help them stay in business after an apparently 'devastating' flood. Every single person I know, from various whisky clubs, got the same bottle – Glenturret. If you ordered more than one bottle, you might get something else as well, but you still got a Glenturret. Far from a lucky dip to "help a small business", this was a scam to clear stock, cleverly charging a higher price, and adding delivery on top. I don't mind about the money – I went into the supposed lucky dip knowingly. It’s the subterfuge that is extremely irksome. If they’d been honest and said “You’ll have to buy more than one bottle to stand a chance of getting something interesting”, I could have made an informed choice. Even more frustrating is the wider damage they’ve done. I’d think twice about supporting any other small business that put out a similar appeal, wondering if it was as scammy as this. Disgraceful behaviour, with no attempt to put it right.”

“The order was shipped to the wrong address twice, surprise whisky was weirdly the same 2 bottles in almost every order when I checked with other people who ordered during that same promotion. All and all, the order arrived a bit late and the whisky was ok for the paid promotion. Partial refund was given on the shipping.”

“Experience of shopping with the Really Good Whisky Company was seamless. Bottles were affordable. Payment was easy and as I had made two different Mir bases a request I made to merge the two orders to save on postage was promptly dealt with. Very helpful and I will definitely be back”
