Thank you for your review Ian From your contact, we were able to offer a budget data recovery service to meet your budget. "external hard drive dropped. When connecting to the laptop now says the drive needs formating. I do not wish to do that as it contains many files. Not an urgent job as these are all none urgent files." “Sorted my memory driver in a few days, saved all my photos , thousands of them, from a hard I was very close to thrown it away a couple of times as nobody else gave a chance. Can't thank enough. Paid about half the price I have been quoted by Currys . Delivery was a huge problem, but that is nothing to do with R3 Data recovery”

Andy and the Team at R3 Data Recovery 0800 999 3282 / 01788 499282 "Got this hard drive , bought like 12 years ago, stored thousands of photos. It was supposed to be safe, however, stopped working. Cannot access the photos, I took it to Currys, they said they can not do anything about it. A friend of mine said I should try a data recovery firm. I am not good at all with exact specifications of what is what, I am a nurse. But so many memories there, I am happy to pay to have them back, if possible."

“The epitome of professional! I had an issue with a back up drive of photos of my children growing up, and having worked with R3 on a different matter they was the first people I contacted. From the get go the communication was constant throughout the recovery process and due a delay in sourcing a replacement drive the process was extended, but this didn't matter as this was all explained and I was reassured that the matter was well in hand. Unfortunately I can't remember the ladies name who helped me at the end process but she was brilliant able to answer any questions I had! I would highly recommend R3 for any data recovery from a single drive to 100s+”

Many thanks for your review Ryan Your "SamGate" was one of the more troublesome drives that took several weeks to find the correct matching donor after the heads crashed and were too damaged to risk using again and required a platter swap. Samsung ST500LM014 Momentus from 2015 2 Platters 4 Heads Stiction approx 50% in (heads damaged & spindle seized) "Tried all sorts of donors, 320GBs, 500GBs and 1TBs of the same and similar family model drives and all incompatible. "donor arrived, appears compatible." Once located it took only 4 days to complete an almost full recovery When Ryan collected a few tonnes of our scrapped donor drives for recycling he mentioned he had a failed hard drive. Although a full recovery was not possible due to one of the platter surfaces being severely scored after a head crash and repeated power cycling. The statistics confirmed that over 90% of the data was recovered undamaged. Folders - 38325 Files - 128279 ( 904.73 Gb) Normal Files - 117441 Problem Files - 10838 Some of the remaining corrupt files separated into the problem folder were also salvageable. R3 Data Recovery is one of the few data recovery labs with the technical capabilities, equipment and dedication to recover such damaged Western Digital SpyGlass series hard disk drives. “Absolutely Amazing, total data recovery R3 Data recovery performed a far superior job to fields data recovery - recovered 99% of my data (audio files from expensive recording studio sessions) and went truly above and beyond - a single audio file from one of the sessions was labelled as partially corrupt, R3 went back and reattempted a recovery of just that file. They also assisted me with obtaining a refund from fields data recovery for their poor workmanship. I can't recommend Andy Butler and R3 Data recovery highly enough, I'm over the moon with my result!”
