All was good until the day of the move which was promised to be at 2 pm at 11 am I was told there was a hold up at the morning move and the guys would not be there until 3 pm then it was 4 pm then it was 5 pm they didn't arrive until 5,30 pm they had to drive from Vereeniging at 4,30 to get back to Johannesburg for out move, so part of the move was done in the dark, the guys were good but the Quick moves organisation is poor with no back up plan for such a problem, also this over booking of resorces is a usual problem in the country, so the moral is font do an afternoon move make sure you are the first move of the day the afternoon move is a no no

Dear Graham. Firstly we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused on the day of your move. We had a breakdown with the truck that was supposed to move you and that resulted in the delay as we had to rely on the other truck which was in Vereeniging and not scheduled for your move. We do have a backup plan but because it was month-end that truck was in use as well, but we certainly consider other back up plans for our future clients. As a gesture of goodwill, we are will to offer you a 20% discount on your next move and give you the morning slot if you are moving within the next year from today. Thank you for the business and taking time to post an area of improvement that we will have to work on going forward. We are glad the team handled your furniture with care based on the 4-star rating you gave us.

Your service was good up until the day of the move. The truck arrived late, showing up with only the truck no trailer, as indicated in our arrangements. We were told by the driver that a second truck will be arriving to assist with the move. The second truck was only off loading in Midrand at that time and would only arrive after 15:00. The first load was packed and in order to make up for time lost, it was decided to off load the first load and to come back for the second load when the second truck was meant to arrive. The first load was off loaded and the second truck had still not arrived. The driver then decided to rather return to do the second trip himself. This was a good decision which. We were not very impressed with your service on the day.

Going forward we will make sure that this does not happened to any of our customers. As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer you a free delivery within 30km radius with a 1.5 ton truck from your current address. We appreciate your honest feedback and taking time to post your review.

I was very disappointed with the service I received on the day of the move. The day before the move I received a call asking whether we could move the time of the move from 8 am to 6 30. I agreed to the request despite it being very early. On the day of the move I arrived at the specified time and the movers were 45 minutes late. Thete were a few items that i had not included on the list but i was not informed at the time they would be charged for. The men asdisting were not careful with the items and boxes. The drivers gps was not working so we had to drive in front of the vehicle. Once we got to the destination the head mover and his men complained that there were stairs and complained that they wanted to bring the van into the complex. This is not allowed according to our body corporate because it prevents other residents from leaving the complex. When I explained this they still complained. The head mover charged me for the stairs which I can understand. However because he was 45 minutes late I insisted that he not charge me for extra items. He was very aggressive towards me in his approach. During the move I gave the head mover a tip for his men. He did not thank me and looked at me as if the amount I had given him was beneath him. My sisters husband as well as my father also tipped the men. The men were very slow with the unpacking and grumbled throughout. I experienced the move as unprofessional and that the head mover was more interested in getting his payment then his customer service. I would value your feedback.

Dear Lindsay Firstly we would like to apologies for the inconvenience caused, which is long overdue. Going forward we are going to do the following for all customers 1. Print directions for Drivers from Google Maps.. incase GPS battery is flat. 2. Communicate with customers upfront about truck restrictions and send the right size truck which can enter the complex. 3. Introduce name badges to that you can report on rude staff members. Head movers was eventually fired after similar complaints from other customers. As a gesture of goodwill we would like to offer you a free delivery within a 50kms radius from our offices using a 1.5ton truck. Hopefully we will be able to redeem our name and continue with We appreciate you you honest and feedback, its people like you who help us improve our service and hold staff accountable.
