“They scratched my furniture and broke some plates and glasses”

“When the team took the one be away the head-board fell over and break and also damaged the side cupboard . The dinning room side -board were scratched and the one bar-chair as well. Luckily that was some of the older furniture. I want to use your company again to move furniture to Natal and Cape Town but can not afford that this furniture get damaged since that is new furniture. I was quite surprised with the scratches since my brother made used of your services in Roodepoort also recently and he referred me to you. I do not know if that was the same team.”

“Arrived an hour after the agreed time, scratched my washing machine and dryer, spiller paint on the paving (twice) at the new location.”

“I was happy the movers moved my furniture reasonably well to my new home. One or two items has some dents there and there but nothing unusual. However I was surprised to find that the movers only did one trip and left some items at my previous home. Apparently time was an issue. This was a surprise to me as the movers arrived late, after 09:00. I had to pick these items up my self ,these required two trips in my small car. I am also disappointed that unpacking was not part of the process. I recommend this should at least be communicated to your future costumers. I had to spend the whole weekend unpacking. I also did not receive a courtesy call to establish how things went.”

“Your movers are great to deal with. Happy and energetic. Your auto replies and office corporate image is cold and corporate. Initial email was warm and friendly. It goes downhill from there.”

“Hi. The driver and the labourers were a good team. They worked hard during the day and got things done quickly and efficiently. Office back up let them down , they battled to find my house and they would have struggled to find the farm . It would be a good idea to invest in good GPS systems for the trucks. I spent a lot of time yesterday giving the truck directions. Just an unnecessary headache on a moving day.”

Dear Peter. Thank you for taking time to write feedback on your move. We had a problem with the GPS system for that truck and Drivers had to rely on the smart phone GPS to locate the collection and Delivery Address. Going forward we will make sure we have a back up in the form of Google Maps printed directions, when technology let us down. Thank you for the business and your patience. Quick Movers Team.

“Moving staff were on time and professional. Convey my thanks to Tony and his team. The online quote system is excelent. I was amazed at getting a response within 2hours of submitting a request on 31dec. However, none of my emails to info@quickmovers.co.za were responded to, which is not really acceptable in the 21st century.”

“Guys were polite. However, they took the name of the company Quick Movers too literally. Could have done with a bit more care & attention and less hurry. Blankets & other protection not used on much furniture, resulting in some 'rope burns' in places. Would recommend company for short trips only.”

“The movers were polite, quick and efficient, although were not too keen to help us unpack any boxes once we had arrived at our new house even after paying for this additional service.”

“Small items of value (CD's) were taken , we complained and received no feedabck They broke the garage roller door , will not be using Quick Movers again”
