I was very disappointed with the service I received on the day of the move. The day before the move I received a call asking whether we could move the time of the move from 8 am to 6 30. I agreed to the request despite it being very early. On the day of the move I arrived at the specified time and the movers were 45 minutes late. Thete were a few items that i had not included on the list but i was not informed at the time they would be charged for. The men asdisting were not careful with the items and boxes. The drivers gps was not working so we had to drive in front of the vehicle. Once we got to the destination the head mover and his men complained that there were stairs and complained that they wanted to bring the van into the complex. This is not allowed according to our body corporate because it prevents other residents from leaving the complex. When I explained this they still complained. The head mover charged me for the stairs which I can understand. However because he was 45 minutes late I insisted that he not charge me for extra items. He was very aggressive towards me in his approach. During the move I gave the head mover a tip for his men. He did not thank me and looked at me as if the amount I had given him was beneath him. My sisters husband as well as my father also tipped the men. The men were very slow with the unpacking and grumbled throughout. I experienced the move as unprofessional and that the head mover was more interested in getting his payment then his customer service. I would value your feedback.
