“Not sure. I ordered some bits especially to drill stainless steel. Either this particular steel was impossibly hard, or those tungsten tipped bits were not as good as expected. Ordinary good quality bits did just as well, equally bad, actually. It might be down to my lack of experience, although I am well used to tools, building, etc.”

“I always bought drills from this company. Last year I bought a set of drill bits from this company. I gave a very good feedback without checking the quality (I trusted this company ). The drills are crooked. You can't trust anyone.”

“Drills arrived on time but packaging was inadequate as both drills were bent on arrival and I had to straighten them ( not a trivial task ) before they could be used. Once straightened they did the job perfectly.”

“I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the imperial set of HSS drill bits I bought. I used one to drill into mild steel and it went blunt less than 1/8” into the material. The technical desk explained that there are several qualities of HSS... cobalt being the best. The drills should have carried an advisory list of suitable materials. This set is worse than useless for their intended application. A complete waste of money....”

“Great website easy to use, and easy ordering system, I would advise caution when choosing your product, I ordered, amongst other items, some 1/4" has jobber bits, something I've used for years the bits that arrived are hopeless, no good for steel and they wobbled in the chuck so not much good for anything else, when I spoke to a very helpful bloke from technical he apologised and said he would send me a better grade of bit, 2 days later I recieved another pack of hss jobber bits, now I have 20 useless bits 😐”

“Whilst the bits that are larger than 1mm are as described I have found the ones smaller than 1mm are not, the smaller they are the greater the inaccuracies, now I know this I can use a micrometer to assess each bit before use, so all is not lost. At the price point I can't complain really, and the speed of despatch and delivery is second to none.”

“Quick delivery and all items were correct and present. I am a builder so I need the bits for professional use. Very poor quality, I bought 10 x 5.5mm and 10 x 6.5mm SDS bits. I have found the bits are not manufactured straight so wobble while drilling into soft handmade bricks. Then they just snap with normal use. Really disappointed and definitely don't think they are manufactured in the UK. They might even be made out of shortbread biscuit.”

“Good service with quick turnaround, very cheap but you get what you pay for, HSS bits, SDS bits and holes saws we’re all fine but flat/spade bits are poor quality and I wouldn’t buy them again.”

“Luckily the drill bits I purchased came in multiples of ten, they were extra long and small diameters, however I didn't expect some to be so bent that they'd snap off at higher speeds in my Dremel. That said, some were fine, they were fairly inexpensive and perhaps that's why they came in multiples of ten. Quality control could be improved, but I would buy from UK Drills again.”

“Unfortunately the 17/64 drill, is putting it bluntly, bent, like a Banana! The remainder are good, well packaged and seem to be of acceptable quality for the price. A replacement drill would be good chaps?”
