“Good stock, quick service, but a proportion of the small jobbing drills in my last order were bent”

“ordered several bits from carbide core drills, diamond core drills, and sds bits. I had an eight inch concrete wall to drill through so used the carbide core drill. Only made it half way through before all twelve of the carbide teeth came off the core drill!! very poor quality. Also no flats on the shaft or bits to enable to unscrew the bit. Very poorly thought out. The diamond core drills do the job albeit very slowly.........”

“I usually have five star service. Unfortunately there was one or another problem with their system and I had to do an order and payment over the phone, the order did arrive the following day, but with no receipt. I have tried various methods (phone call, e-mail, through their web site) to get a receipt from them, to no avail. This is rather disappointing as they are usually a good company to deal with.”

“I had intended to purchase professional quality drill-bits ( eg. Dormer or Presto) but found those supplied to be of poor quality and not suitable for purpose. With telephone sales I suggest a quality rating is offered to help purchasers find items matching their requirements. Disappointing !”

“The box was smashed and all the screwdriver bit bags were ripped with the bits loose in the bottom of the carton. The online shop changed the deliver to address to match the bill to address which meant I had to call and sort out. It was delivered to the correct address. Products seem ok.”

“My order was dispatched at 25.11 and 9.12 aren`t shipped yet,so not so fast. No matter little mistake they had in payment. But may be better luck next time.”

“Nothing wrong with UK Drills, however I have sent an email to you discussing my disappointment with your courier company DPD as they did not deliver on time, and blatantly did not attempt to deliver. This resulted in me paying extra money for my tradesmen to come another day to complete the task which they had been waiting to complete on the previous day. As yet I am still to receive a reply to my email.”

“Louise...YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING..THANK YOU. HAVING NOW RECEIVED MY REPLACEMENT CORE DRILL AND EXTENSION BAR, THE EXACT SAME THING HAS HAPPENED. THE EXTENSION BAR SNAPPED OFF INSIDE MY SDS CHUCK, AND IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO GET THE PIECE OUT. THE CORE DRILL ALSO LOST THREE TEETH JUST LIKE THE LAST ONE. SO ALL IN ALL NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE EQUIPMENT / TOOLS, BUT HAPPY WITH CUSTOMER SERVICES.”

“The set of bits looks okay though I haven't tried them yet. The bit container is rather feeble: the biggest bits can slide up and down in it and during transit in the post part of the container had bent causing it to jam when I attempted to open and close. I've managed to fix it but its still the fiddliest case I've ever had and I suspect it will get bent again when I have the bits in transit unless I'm very careful.”

“Twice I have ordered from here and twice the items have been delivered to the billing address not the delivery address. There is obviously a problem with the website. Delivery was quick and items are ok. It's just luck the two addresses are only a few miles away and was able to collect”
