Not sure. I ordered some bits especially to drill stainless steel. Either this particular steel was impossibly hard, or those tungsten tipped bits were not as good as expected. Ordinary good quality bits did just as well, equally bad, actually. It might be down to my lack of experience, although I am well used to tools, building, etc.
