Good range of drills and efficient service but the brad point wood drill I received was particularly poor quality (SKU 51.190.1)

The drills were fine, the delivery time from placing the order was excellent the only problem was the packaging was filled with shredded paper😡 which went everywhere

I purchased the drills to drill into a hardened steel screw that had broken off in the thread so that I could insert an 'Easy Out' screw extractor. The drills did not work I regret to say as they were softer than the screw. Srevice was excellent and delivery on time. Perhaps I expected too much.

Purchased M3.5 tap set and 1-10mm tap wrench. I haven't used them yet, but tap set looks fine. Tap wrench does not look so good as it does not hold the taps squarely - fault appears to be in the aluminium casting, so little point in sending back, as I guess they're all the same. That said, my guess is it'll do the job if I'm careful.

I would love to write a review, but unfortunately the item wasn’t received, it had fallen out of a hole in the packaging, but for a sharp drill bit this isn’t a surprise, didn’t complain as I can accept these things happen, regardless of how carefully packaged and checked.

Order Drill bits for drilling stainless steel and really disappointed with the quality, as the description stated for use on stainless steel

Delivery and product was great. Only 3 stars because no PDF invoice was emailed; easy paperwork makes all the difference!!

The first 3.1mm drill I used appeared slightly bent and snapped almost straight away The 5mm seems to be working fine

value for money jobber drill standard - not a replacement for a carbide NC drill (won't take the feed rates) broke 3mm on second hole - tip geometry not perfect - would use again though now knowing what to expect

I ordered a core drill bit - would have been useful to have the length of the bit stated on the web- site. Will make the job longer

I wanted some sets of metric taps and dies to cut threads. The website was unclear if the dies were HSS (or carbon steel) and if they were split or not. I queried both points and was assured by email that the dies were HSS and split - I then placed an order on this basis. On delivery, the taps were all good, but the dies, whilst HSS, were not split. This means the tolerance of the thread being cut cannot be altered, which is a significant problem. I queried this as a possible manufacturing mistake, but I was then assured, contrary to my first enquiry, that all dies supplied by UK Drills were not split. I was offered, and accepted, a full refund for the dies. I also found later that the outside diameter of these dies was a mm or so less than my die stock holder, which fits all of my split dies made by Presto etc, perfectly. In conclusion, the website description needs to be much clearer about ALL of these important details and, when queries are made, the answers should be helpful and accurate, rather than false and misleading. Otherwise, the goods appear to be decent quality and value.

Drill bits arrived in good time. I have been unable to use the bits on a planned task as yet due to bad weather, so cannot honestly comment on quality of the purchased product.

The service from UK Drills was good, however the quality of the drill bits were absolutely rubbish.. 10x 5.5 sds bits and within 2 days all were in the bin. Won't be buying again.

Disappointed to report 2 of the drills have broken being used for the first time. Drilling 3 and 4 mm holes in 16mm soft wood. Other than quality issues, service is good.

Great except why did I have to buy 10 identical drill bits when I only needed 1?

Delivery was an issue. I paid £3.50 delivery on a £2 drill bit as I needed it. It was delivered in an envelope 5 days later. This is down to Royal Mail but it reflects badly on UK Drills.
