“I ordered Solignum for my front fence, as this was used by my painter last year for the exposed timber on our mock tudor house, which we have occupied for the last 45 years. Previously I, and other painters have used 50/50 bitumen/creosote, which quickly weathers and fades. Last year's application of Solignum is still looking like new. I am very impressed with it. It's easy to apply, and really seems to protect. The top rails of my 34 year-old oak fence are weathered such that they have a 'crocodile skin' look, but with a generous 2-coat application they look really good.”

“The service from Promain was excellent. The product was initially misdirected by the manufacturer but Dawn at Promain kept me updated. When the replacement was the wrong colour Dawn again saved the day and the manufacturer finally got it right. I had full confidence throughout that the order would be resolved. The delay in delivering the right product was not the fault of Promain.”

“The paint is excellent - good consistency, and nice silver finish. Makes rusty exhaust pipes look like new. Don't know yet about durability - whether finish will fade, or heat will damage. Biggest concern is if rust will return, although I wire-brushed the pipes, applied Jenolite and washed off. So far paint very good. One improvement should be made - cling film not sellotape should be used to seal lid. It rips off the top of the paper and some of the directions are torn off. Also spoils look of tin for future. Lettering so small because of 4 languages impossible to read without magnifying glass.”

“The company are very good but the colour is not red as it says on the tin but more bronze, a deep, metallic chocolate. Very disappointing but had disappointments with a spray (came out purple) and Hamerite version (red but no Hammer effect). My order arrived as promised on the day suggested but then had fun and games with the delivery company.”

“Sorry - my previous review from Alfred G is for another paint company which i purchased on the same day. My Promain review is:- Quick delivery - well packed. The black acrylic floor paint is excellent. No smell and nice satin finish.”

“My previous review was for another paint company -(I purchased paint from 2 companies at the same time) - - not Promain....sorry about that. My Promain review is:- excellent delivery and excellent black floor paint. No smell at all. Goes on nicely. Looks satin and has a dark liquirice colour. Great”

“I asked for samples which came within 2 days. The samples are exellent (looks like the real paint - not printed). I beleive the paint is mixed for each order?...so I think delivery is quick. (Ordered over the weekend and it arrived on the following Wednesday.)”

“I contacted Promain for advice about what paint to use on my garage floor. I spoke to a very knowledgeable gentleman who explained all the options and helped me choose the right paint. Delivery was very quick and I paint the floor and am waiting for it to dry. Floor looks great.”
