“Ordered and received the time trims in maybe about 10 days which was fine as had allowed for this and planned accordingly. Trims as expected and would order again. 4 stars due to communication. Was contacted by PTT about another previous order, and returned an email about cancelling the previous order that did not go through on PayPal and never got an acknowledgement back.”

“Searching through the website isn't always that straightforward and the data available about a product are at an unequal level - in the end, you need detailed photos and technical specifications to make the decision. The delivery was quick and well packed, however, the cost of the delivery is quite high. If not for the fact at the scale of the order it was still cheaper to buy with them, I wouldn't decide to use the company if my order was smaller.”

“Great product at great price - had to ay a premium though for quicker delivery which I thought was unreasonable £28 on a £14 order!”

Due to current market conditions, we have had to make minor increases to our shipping fees to ensure we can remain competitive in the current business climate whilst continuing to provide a high-quality service to our customers. When it comes to tile trim specifically, we have always opted for a superior level of packaging quality, which ultimately costs more. Being 2.5m long, tile trim is not your standard parcel, meaning there are only a limited number of couriers that offer transport on these products. Sending items in a 2.5m long, narrow cardboard tube is not the most structurally safe and can, and does, snap quite easily. Therefore we strap timber to the side to reduce the risk of damage during transit, ensuring our customers receive their delivery in one piece. We also display shipping prices clearly at checkout to avoid unexpected surprises before placing your order. “I hadn’t received my order, about a fortnight on. But posting a review resulted in my order status being checked and the courier was at fault, so review made up to 4 stars for sorting this out. Thanks for resolving this and so quickly.”
