“The hinge on my Power Bug digital - which I have owned for five years,played twice a week and am still on original battery - broke during a game last Thursday. When I got home I jumped onto the website - which is easy to navigate and very helpful - and found the required part. However as I am only a moderate diy person I decided to call the company prior to ordering the part. I spoke to a spares salesman on Friday 17th Feb and told him the problem. He advised that the electrics would disconnect - a plug so no solder - at the handle and I would need to drill out 8 pop rivets. The spare part would come with the rivets and a new central bolt - and could be easily reassembled. He was so confident that I immediately ordered the part on the site ( the salesman had said that it would arrive Tuesday ) and it was only £15 plus p and p. As I had a pop rivet gun this would not be problematic. The part arrived on Saturday 18th Feb, I had replaced the part within an hour,re-assembled and tested. It worked perfectly. Everything the salesman told me was correct. The website was easy to use and the companies postal service was exemplary. From start to finish I have nothing but praise for the company.As a cynic I expected the hard sell to buy a new trolley but here was none of that but simply advice from someone who knew the product. I shall certainly buy another Powerbug if this one fails totally. Now off to play golf so wish me well.”
