We try to assist customer over the phone who contact us with issues that they would like to fix at home. In the vast majority of cases our technicians can identify a problem and spare parts can be delivered if requested by a customer. We can only make recommendations in relation to the information given. This does leave room for misunderstandings and does not guarantee that replacement parts are fitted correctly. As mentioned, in the vast majority of cases and with the help of the customer will make the correct diagnosis, the customer will carry out a repair and everyone is happy. Sorry about the delivery. Sometimes we use two carriers to deliver different parts of an order. We do this to manage costs and minimise the freight impact upon our customers.

Unfortunately we do not control freight charges, these are dictated to us by our forwarding agents. As for the component, it is not just the tooling and manufacturing cost that are considered but also stockholding, handling and packaging. To ensure parts are available to help customer who break or loose components, we have to hold extensive stocks for many years to cover any eventuality. As we run a commercial enterprise, this service can not be offered at less than cost. We are happy that your PowerBug is now serviceable and that a new trolley was not a consideration as a spare part was available and delivered efficiently.
