“I have been unable to return my Oakley frames because they were apparently made to order. This was a surprise to me since it was not stated in the description of them and they were advertised as "available: in stock".”

Many thanks for your feedback Craig. I am sorry that you are not happy with your purchase from Posh Eyes. Posh Eyes is one of the few retailers from which Oakley spare parts, such as sunglasses frames without lenses, can be purchased. We state on our ordering page and in our Terms & Conditons that there is no automatic right to return for refund for frames without lenses (please see attached image from our ordering page). We include this condition as unfortunately Oakley does not accept returns of spare parts from Posh Eyes (or any other wholesaler), nor is Posh Eyes able to resell spare parts to other customers. “Superb service.Julian was very helpful.Posh Eyes had the sunglasses i wanted and they had them with prescription.I wanted authentic Oakley lenses in a particular colour which Posh Eyes had.The price was very reasonable and i am happy with my new Oakley prescription sunglasses.I would thoroughly recommend.”

“Always excellent service, I live in Ireland and have found posh eyes to be cheaper and very efficient. My order takes a little longer because of my prescription but that's a small thing. i will be ordering again.”

“Refused to give refund as manager stated sunglasses were made to order; not clear on website. Issue has been taken up with trading standard's as I believe this site is not fulfilling consumer rights. Disappointed with response I have received so far.”

I am sorry that you have not been happy with the experience you have had with Posh Eyes. We are happy to accept returns of all our off-the-shelf items, fulfilling the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act. Certain discontinued items which are no longer available off-the-shelf, can only be supplied on a make-to-order basis. As such, under the Consumer Rights Act, there is no automatic right to return these specially-made products for refund. We make it clear on our ordering page which products are make-to-order only, and include on the same page, in our Terms & Conditions, and on our Delivery and Returns page that there is no automatic right to return these products for refund. At Posh Eyes, we pride ourselves on customer service, and through our regular communication with you, we believe we have offered an open and honest explanation.
