“I really liked one of your Hot Pink table Lamps from the beginning, but was disappointed that it was only available as a rechargeable light, as I wanted it to work with our Lutron control system on a 5amp plug. It took me a long time to find a suitable hot pink lamps from an alternative supplier. I was then able to order 3 lampshades from Pooky to go with it. All 3 options looked great and took us a while to decide on the Empire silk ikat shade in pink and pewter darjee. It just stood out and gave us a bit of punch in the room, complementing our colour scheme in our room. I love these lamps and shade and really given our living room some fun and punch of colour to the room. Pooky has been great and after visiting the showroom twice I can highly recommend and was easy to return the shades i didn't require.”

“My wee brother was nicknamed 'Tiddlypom' so had to get this light. It is super cute and so handy that you can move it around to find your perfect spot. The glass came greasy which was disappointing but the shade was very well wrapped. Looks great.”

“The base and shade are very beautiful but we are disappointed with the level of light from the rechargeable table lamp and it does not therefore do what we had hoped which is to provide extra lighting for playing cards. The fact that the lamp has to be dismantled to recharge the light is also disappointing plus the shade wobbles. All in all a waste of money from our perspective.”

Hello Susan, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you have been disappointed with your new rechargeable lamp. Our rechargeable lamps are designed for added mood lighting as opposed to task lighting, however if you feel the bulb is not bright enough you can get in touch with our customer service team to check that the bulb is not faulty. We will happily replace faulty products. As for the lamp shade, there will be some slight movement if the lamp is touched. The shade is held in place with a magnet as opposed to a shade ring. “On the 2 most recent rechargeable lamps I've purchased the charging point is done onto the bulb and not the base of the lamp as before. I actually prefer it being to the base and I also prefer the press button to bring up the brightness of the bulb. I don't find the new remote works as efficiently with the brightness. I had great difficulty removing the plastic collar on the shade to get it to fit onto the fight bulb. All said, I love my lamps.”

“I have previously ordered many lights from Pooky but have been left quite disappointed by the quality of the Bronte bookcase light. The silicone bumpers on the clamp are of really poor quality and have already completely disintegrated, less than one week in, leaving a mess all over our bookcase. I was really excited for this product but have been left disappointed and, unfortunately, wouldn’t recommend.”

“Saw this item advertised in a garden magazine . Loved the design especially that it was rechargeable . Arrived very promptly and so well packaged.. always a worry if ordering something fragile .So am pleased to tell you that I was not disappointed… it’s just the right size so we can use it on a table or, with the additional purchased hook, we can Hank it in the pergola . Sturdily made , very attractive in the blue and brass option … extremely cute !!Thank you”

“The website design is great, You can tell thought went it to, being able to see the lamps with the different shaeds is most helpful - almost too much choice! (Some 'pooky favourite combos could be a good idea). Once ordered the communication was great. The prodcuts themselves are obviously great quality and feel like an investment that will last.”
