“Absolutely thrilled. From the moment they arrived, we were impressed by their quality of the packaging. We had been a little apprehensive because they are quite pricey, but we quickly realised that we had got what we paid for. Once installed it was clear that around 200 lumen was perfectly adequate although personally we wouldn't choose to dim them.”

“I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Pooky, particularly given the company's reputation and the price point of its products. I ordered two lamps on 26 October. While the first lamp arrived correctly, a second delivery later that day contained a completely different lamp from the one I had ordered. What should have been a straightforward issue to resolve has turned into a frustrating and time-consuming experience. I left no fewer than five voicemail messages, having been unable to reach anyone in customer service, and eventually resorted to sending an email to find out what had happened to my order. When I finally managed to speak to someone, I was assured that the mistake would be rectified. Unfortunately, a week has now passed and I am still waiting for the correct lamp to arrive. To add to the inconvenience, I had arranged for an electrician to install both lights and had to send him away, meaning I will now have to arrange another visit. Rather than receiving an update on when I can expect the lamp I actually ordered, the only communication I have received is an email asking how I would like to return the incorrect item. All in all, a thoroughly disappointing experience. Mistakes happen, but it is how a company deals with them that really matters. In this instance, the lack of communication, difficulty in reaching customer service and failure to resolve a simple error have fallen well short of expectations. I am still waiting for my lamp and would appreciate Pooky taking some responsibility for the inconvenience caused and providing a clear indication of when I can expect my order to be fulfilled.”

“I did have to return one faceplate as it had a mark. Returns and replacement is seamless. The products I’ve bought have been excellent quality (glass orb chandelier, Florence switches) and customer service always friendly. I do wish they would engage more with customers on social media, as I have shared content with these products there also.”

“The words to a review are about gaining trust. So I have to write the good, and the bad. First the painful bit. The light arrived damaged, which shows that Pooky’s still at the learning phase, especially with packaging. Clearly the phrase drop test hasn’t been covered in the customer journey. The packaging is weak, and sadly needs polystyrene, not a pretty version on bubble wrap. But, here’s the good review. The bit that says pick-a-Pooky anyway. Not only did Pooky send a new, replacement, no quibbles posed lamp. But they asked me to keep and dispose of the old lamp as well. So, whether the broken horse’s head ends up as a garden ornament to keep Norman the Gnome company. Or he tops up the already burgeoning landfills of our green and pleasant land. I’m safe in the knowledge that my replacement is on its way within days. Good luck team Pooky. May your bayonet bulbs be plentiful. A.N.Other customer.”

“Lovely wall light. It looks whiter on the photo but is actually more of a light wood effect. I chose the orange rectangle shade which looks so warm and cosy. Gorgeous.”
