“I fell in love with the green twistle lamp and the orange shade as shown on the website. The green lamp arrived and was lovely. The lampshade's fitting was too big so I had to ask for an adapter, which arrived but proved fiendishly difficult to fit. Eventually I managed it and the lamp was ready for use. However the lampshade I bought did not match the vivid orange one but is more like a softer dusky orange. I'm pleased with the lamp but it didn't quite match the dream.”

“Sad to say I was really with these lamps. Bought a lamp and shade in bronze, they are not the same colour so don’t look good. They were £200 and I felt weren’t worth the money so returned. On the plus side the returns process is very easy”

“Absolutely delighted with our table lamps and shaded. Had been looking all over for lamps I actually liked to replace some tired old ones we had. Came across Pooky lights and my search was over. They were transformative in our sitting room. All carefully packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Hihlghly recommended”

“What a find, saw an article in a magazine and was looking for a new lamp to go on my console table. Went onto their site and it is so well organised. You choose your base and the site shows all of the shades that will fit that base, excellent choice of colour and style.I chose an amber base with a pleated leopard print shade. Rechargeable. I ordered an additional 'battery " so that I would always have a charged replacement. Very quick delivery so so pleased with my purchase, it looks amazing in situ Very well made and holds a charge for along time and it comes with a remote control. Will be ordering again from this company”

“I have bought a number of light fittings and lampshades and so far the only problem encountered is with the lightbulbs. I bought 8 for a chandelier and after about 1 month 7 out of 8 stopped working. A local electrical shop told me they have had other epople say the same about Pooky lightbulbs. My suggestion is to source your lightbulbs elsewhere. These are not cheap and it was a waste of money.”

“My lampshades arrived very quickly indeed. I have a house full of lamps, and most of them are Pooky vellum effect shades. They give the best warm glow, and I can't get thiem anywhere else. Please don't stop providing them!”
