“The light and shade I ordered are beautiful. I was worried the orange might look a bit plastic or tacky but it is very solid and obviously quality. However the only thing is the control indicates one can increase or decrease the power of the light. It doesn't seem to do that.”

“Having seen your lights online, we visited Pooky at Redbrick Mills in Batley and absolutely loved them all. We ended up ordering two beautiful tall blue and white ginger jar style table lamps with dramatic orange pleated lampshades to replace some old, cracked lamps which were no longer safe. They are fabulous. They arrived very quickly, beautifully packaged and look perfect either side of our old stone fireplace. Thank you.”

“I am very pleased with my rechargeable lamp, needed for a dark landing where there was no socket. I like the way it is controlled by remote, so that the dimming process is gradual and customiseable, not three clicks, like some lamps. I could really have done without the blingy remote control cover though - utterly naff and will never be used!”

“Ive bought several lights and lamps from Pooky. First off they are all good quality - solidly made with a good finish and the lampshades are also made well. Ive now got two rechargeable lamps and they are brilliant - they sit in places which deserve a pretty light and they look fab - and are brilliant - litrally - in a power cut. The rechargeable bulbs are neat and I have a spare one always charged up. The 'blurb' say they last from 9-17 hours and at full brightness I get 9 hours and having the remote with a timer makes it even easier. Thankyou Pooky - you are my go to lamp shop these days.”

“I have bought many lights from Pooky and they are always my go-to for new projects. Their quality is excellent with beautiful designs and finishes available. “I now have 4 Pooky lights. A chandelier that I had wanted for a year and 3 rechargeables- 2 table lamps and one wall light. I love them all, but my favourite table lamp is the gorgeous amber glass. I have 2 spare Genesis cells that I keep charged. Although you can buy cheaper rechargeables, Pooky lighting is obviously of classy quality. The fun part is trying to decide which shade to buy - there are so many! I'm now saving for another glass rechargeable. A ruby glass globe for my bedroom. I think I'm hooked!”

“Beautiful lamp base, was impressed with the quality of the light fitting too. Also as much as the packaging was robust ( the lamp consists of a glass lamp base) there was not one bit of plastic. Great comms re shipping.”

“Goods arrived quickly. Well packaged. Returns online excellent but useless if you don't have a printer because you have to pay £15 for a courier uplift and all I want is a code to resend via my Post office without a printer.”

“Purchased a rechargeable lamp online. Did not purchase a shade as I'd already purchased the one I wanted elsewhere. They were not compatible. I rang twice and spoke to two different assistants who were polite but not exactly helpful. Nowhere on the website does it warn customers that non-Pooky lampshades may be incompatible. Had to place another order for a shade. Nice lamp but soured my experience with your company.”
