“Great products but poor customer service. Sent an urgent email two days ago and am still waiting for a response. Also, £6 charge to return products in a sale which they will then sell at a higher price; go figure?!”

Hello Ian, Thank you for your honest review. We are very sorry that you have not had a good experience this time around. It appears there was an email response sent to you on the 9/4/2026. We understand this will have been too late, however typically when a new response comes through to our mailbox, this can cause the email to go back to the bottom of the list as we work in chronological order. A member of the customer service team tried to call you and left a voicemail as the email we sent you had bounced. Our spring sale ended on the 7th of April and all items which were in the promotion returned to full price, however our customer service team were ready to honour you the discount. “Lisboa shade is beautiful BUT the light kit (antiqued brass) was faulty - my husband had to fix the earthing within it, to hand the pendant.”

“Absolute recommendation! I ordered the "Jute Pendant in Red" online and am absolutely happy with all aspects of the purchase: Easy ordering and payment, fast shipping, excellent product. The lamp looks amazing and creates a warm and cozy lighting situation. What surprised me the most, was the super fast delivery to Austria from the UK within 4 calendar days! “Love this lamp and shade. It’s a perfect fit for my room colours and looks quite at home! The ceramic base is nice and heavy and the colours complement but contrast with the shade. Another winner from Pooky ❤️”

“We have had to return multiple lamps due to faults or poor quality recently. There seems to be quite a lot of difference compared to the other Pooky lamps that we've purchased in the last few years - different cords (no longer twisted, but a more basic finish), different finishes (the newer Chukka lamp was very shiny and much more chunky at the base than a previous one we bought and it had a plastic switch in the cable, rather than a metal switch in the lamp base). The lampshades are still great and I love the designs of the lamps but I'm really disappointed with the decline in quality of more recent purchases.”

“Attractive and comfortable store with friendly staff. Do exercise caution in the discount section. We bought a floor lamp which is great and they say that goods in the outlet are in good ekectrical condition. BUT the lampshade we bought in the outlet is unusable. We should have taken it to the natural light at the entrance and peeled back some of the protrctive covering. It has dents and several white smears right round it. We had assumed lampshades in the outlet were end of line or seconds - not actually damaged/dented and unusable. We have bought a lampshade elsewhere and lamp looks great. Sandra”
