We are sorry to hear the shade you were interested in is out of stock and not due back for a while. We appreciate the frustration this can cause, however our lamp shades are all lovingly handmade in India, therefore this means our shades are produced in smaller batches, which can sometimes result in longer restock times. “Beautiful lamp base, was impressed with the quality of the light fitting too. Also as much as the packaging was robust ( the lamp consists of a glass lamp base) there was not one bit of plastic. Great comms re shipping.”

“Goods arrived quickly. Well packaged. Returns online excellent but useless if you don't have a printer because you have to pay £15 for a courier uplift and all I want is a code to resend via my Post office without a printer.”

“Purchased a rechargeable lamp online. Did not purchase a shade as I'd already purchased the one I wanted elsewhere. They were not compatible. I rang twice and spoke to two different assistants who were polite but not exactly helpful. Nowhere on the website does it warn customers that non-Pooky lampshades may be incompatible. Had to place another order for a shade. Nice lamp but soured my experience with your company.”

Our rechargeable Genesis cells are the same size as an E27 fitting, therefore should be compatible with most shades. “I like my shades very much although the colour is much darker than anticipated. I hope for nay but I would say the colour is almost black which does not coordinate with my room. Quality is excellent. Delivery was excellent.”

“I'm new to Pooky. I love to view the online products and it's an added bonus to visit the warehouse in Gloucester. I've bought two lamps and a mirror so far and intend to buy more! The returns process is also easy and efficient. The only reason I've had to make a return is because I've misjudged the size NOT because I didn't like the product.”

“Hey pooky poo... I love you ❤️ my partner has seen the light ( I knew he would, eventually) and now wants one for his studio. Delivery was faster than the speed of light. Sustainable packaging and a thing of beauty. It was a rash decision to buy this but I'm glad I made the right choice. If you are on the fence about buying anything from this company, trust me, I'm a doctor, just put it straight in your basket 👌”
