“Very Disappointing – Beware of Hidden Costs I ordered a rechargeable lamp base from Pooky for delivery to Ireland. Paid delivery fees and customs charges, only for the lamp to arrive broken – despite the packaging being intact. Then discovered the rechargeable unit is sent separately, triggering another customs demand. Poor product condition, poor planning on delivery, and unexpected extra costs. Although I can get a product refund I'm still out of pocket.”

“The recahrgeable light bulbs are a great innovation!!!! They come with a remote control for ease of use , however , 1 improvement I would like to see on the timer is perhaps a 6 hr use not just 60 mins max.But other than this the product is brilliant.I bought 2 large candlestick holders & 1 pendant light which are all high qualitity materials.The staff at the Redbrick Mill showroom were exteremly helpful.Definitely recommend Pooky for quality lights & fittings”

“Delighted with my rechargeable cordless lamps. The shades are a gorgeous deep rich colour, exactly what I wanted to make a cosy atmosphere. The lamps are very solid heavy brass and really well made. Overall a very high quality product.”

“I spent a long time searching for 2 ceiling lampshades for my hallway but am grateful to have stumbled upon Pooky. The customer service was excellent (I needed to ask a few questions), the delivery to the north of Scotland was fast and efficient and most importantly my lampshades are beyond perfect! They are beautifully made and the colours are wonderful. I will most definitely visit Pooky again - thank you!”

“I had been looking at these lamps for ages waiting for payday which happily coincided with the sale! The lamp is however beautiful and worth every penny, the shade is equally good quality and I loved that I had size guides and could see them on the base. I cannot comment on the life of the rechargeable bulb but it was easy to fit, the light is good, I love the remote control and I bought a spare bulb in the sale which means I can buy another lamp! Would highly recommend.”
