“The Phileas table lamp is excellent quality and a good sturdy weight. The antique brass looks classy and not too bright. I would certainly recommend it for a nice homely touch. The Empire Shade of hand painted scarier arrows was rather disappointing. The colour of the arrows is rather dull and almost brown. I was hoping for the painted arrows to be more vibrant. Be aware that these particular shades are made of a stiff card and are unlined and the inner metal framework shows through quite noticeably and rather spoils the look. Unfortunately I removed the cellophane wrapping hoping that the colour would be more vibrant without it and this means that it cannot be returned. The”
