“Beautiful collection of lamps and shades. Took a while to select the right ones for our room, but Pooky customer service very responsive and helpful. Returns process very efficient. Clearly quite a large business now but have so far managed to retain a small company feel and personalised service. We are delighted with our final choice, and would definetely use again and recommend.”

“Pooky is always the first place I got to for lights (we're renovating a victorian terrace and they always seem to have so many things that work with our vision for the house) - the latest purchase is for our sitting room, we're a few weeks off fitting yet but they're just what I wanted and I can't wait for the plastering to be finished so we can start the finishing touches. Delivered quickly and well packaged. Thank you!”

“I bought two bedside lamps from Pooky. Unfortunately one was damaged when it arrived. I was very impressed with their helpfulness regarding returning the damaged item and very quickly received a replacement. They look great. Will be buying all my lights in future from Pooky as the quality is great, their items are quirky and fun and the service is brilliant.”

“I'm really sorry, and very disappointed, but I'm trying to psyche myself up to wrap up the lamps and get them back to you. The small one just doesn't fit, the apperture isn't wide enough. I still think that one is beautiful and really regret the fact that it doesn't fit. I don't think the bigger ones look anything like the photos online. I was looking forward to receiving two beautiful, turquoise lamps, but these are a dull, muted green, and not at all my cup of tea. And I'm dreading the responsibility of getting them back to you.”

“Two wall lights and two glass lamp shades ordered online. Delivery was terrible numerous texts telling me delays, dates delivery was being delivered and didn’t arrive and finally three different deliveries! To my disappointment glass lampshades faulty. Returned all, customer service were very apologetic. Have purchased from you before and been delighted and will use again .”

“Whilst the items are great the delivery wasn't. The courier left a card saying we weren't in when we were. That we had to collect from post office. I contacted you and asked for item to be re delivered and you said you could not do that. I ordered the item to be delivered to me , not a location 6 miles away. Disappointed with your attitude , that the item could not be re delivered when is wasn't any fault of the buyer but that of the courier.”

Hi Emmy, Thank you for leaving your review, and letting us know about the issues you have faced with us and our courier. I can see that my colleague has responded to your email asking whether you are in a position to collect this from the pick up shop, as unfortunately in certain area's when a delivery attempt is unsuccessful the next thing DPD will do is drop this to the local Pick up shop. Once this has happened the only thing we are able to process is a return to sender. We are happy to organise this, and issue replacements if we are able to (due to stock levels) and if this is a preferable option for the customer, however as mentioned it can be difficult for us to do anything else or ask for the parcel to be attempted to be delivered again. I am again so sorry for any inconvenience or dissatisfaction caused, I hope in future we will be able to ensure you a satisfying customer experience. Kind regards, Poppy

“I recently ordered two replacement shades for my Pooky wall lights . I needed help as to which ones would be suitable. As usual the customer service that Pooky provided was excellent. I was very pleased with the quality of the shades when they arrived. They were just as described and pictured on their website.”
