“I'm reviewing 3 different items. First, 3 glass Hartley pendants which I have not used yet. They are well made, solid, quite heavy, no sharp edges, the ribbed glass bowl shines even without a bulb. The antique brass fitting complements the style well. Not cheap, but worth it. Second, the Oisin table lamp with a pleated silk shade,which was a gift. A delicate, graceful wand of a lamp which gives a warm glow, creating a lovely ambience. I also bought a lampshade in Tuffley cotton. Excellent workmanship and a gorgeous print by GP & J Baker. All the items were beautifully packed and delivered promptly. May I suggest that you write 'Fragile' clearly on them, as the couriers didn't deliver them the right way up, despite arrows on the boxes. I am very pleased with my purchases, bought in the spring sale. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for aesthetically pleasing, good quality lighting, expertly crafted.”

“I have recently refurbished an entire property and spent over £4000 on Pooky lighting and am delighted with it all. “Great product Poor quality management I bought a brass elbow for a light above my bed. Unfortunately, I just said it back because one of the parts had come loose and fallen off. My last order was for a picture frame light That wouldn’t charge. I’ve placed both of them which was quite easy, but they shouldn’t have happened in the first place.”

“We ordered 2 pendant lights for our new kitchen. What arrived was good in terms of quality size but a brighter, more brassy look than we had hoped from the pics on the website. We decided to return both and were ambushed by the £46 carriage fee for the return. We saw free delivery and free returns on the website when making our purchase.”

“The quality of the product (a pair of Taj silk lampshades) was as good as could be expected; the craftmanship evidences great attention to detail and pride in delivering a good product. The delivery was performed in a timely manner, and good care was taken to ensure the lampshades were protected and arrived in good condition. I'm very satisfied with them, although I would recommend caution if you want to match colours very precisely - on screen colours may appear whiter than in reality (that's my experience). It's a fact of reality when buying things online, though, and Pooky provides adequate labelling and warning, so nothing to fault in this regard.”

“I’ve been waiting for a few months now for this 40cm lampshade to come back into stock and use my Pooky perks before time ran out to use them. Unfortunately the size I wanted is still out of stock so decided to purchase the slightly smaller shade in hope it would look ok with my lamp base. Sadly it is too small for this base as you can see by the photo. Nevertheless I love the shade so much, the colours and pattern are simply beautiful - so i’ve decided to keep it and just find a smaller lamp base that’s the correct proportion for the shade.”
