“Ordered a rothenberger hot box with soldering equipment.. delivered quickly without any problems ..However I sent a query regarding the foam insert and have not had a reply 5 days later !!”

“Good service but would have been better if exact dimensions of some of the stuff was supplied. I bought toilet cistern couplings which turned out to be too thick and I couldn't use them but not worth the hassle of returning them. Otherwise OK. I would use them again but I'd be more careful in future.”

“Ordered 17 September, arrived at my local Post Office 18 September safe and sound. Sadly once unpacked I had received a flush valve rather than the side feed float I required..... It will go into my stock as I have several cisterns using this valve! My neighbour suggested Screwfix as a supplier, my local store had it in stock......”

“Very disappointing service this time around! Previously always received goods in 48 hrs when delivered by DPD. Charged for Parcelforce 48 service And exactly 7 days later I received my items after having had to purchase them all locally in order to complete my work this week. So will be going to BES from now on. If you need it quick buy from BES!!!!”

“All supplies were as described and at a good price, however the delivery instructions I filled in online were not put onto the parcel, and the wrong tracking number was given to me, that lead to a 4 day delay when the parcel was sitting in local post office, somewhat annoying but would use them again”

“Excellent value for money, but I ordered 3 on a Sunday evening and then realised I needed 4, I rang first thing on Monday morning about 8.30 no answer, rang again at back of 9 no answer, sent an email, and the response which came later in the day said that 'it was too late as the order had already been processed'. Sadly I think this is part of the modern way of doing business, we've lost touch with talking to people because it takes time and time is money. Would I order from them again, yes great website easy to navigate and good value for money, just a pity about the response to a phone call, may be I'm just an old fud who needs to catch up with the times😎”
