Lots of back and forward with initial communications and design quotes but the tarmac graphics look good.

I have chosen to give a rating of three because our experience was very mixed. Pre-installation our experience was excellent, but the installation process left much to be desired. I am writing separately to explain. Your sub-contractors let you down badly.

Happy with new play equipment. Disappointment that the nest swing installation has created a trip hazard due to not aligned with safety matting.

We are frustrated by the slowness of the last issues to be resolved - the HERAS fencing is still up and no date for its removal. The school holidays will soon be over.....

Although the staff have all been very friendly and professional. It has taken a very long time for the installation to take place, with it being called off for several reasons. This has caused a great deal of inconvenience for our staff and resulted in fencing being in our park for a matter of weeks which youths throwing it around in the evenings.

Thank you for your review and we’re sorry your experience hasn’t matched your expectations. In a very uncommon and unfortunate instance, our Installer had fallen ill which has been out of our control and sadly delayed the installation. This has also resulted in the Heras fencing being onsite longer and unattended than expected, but rectified by our Contracts Manager going out to the site to install the fencing and bring a stop to any vandalism. We are sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience and will ensure to put processes in place to avoid this in the future. There were numerous problems whilst ordering the new play equipment, already well documented, the installation was delayed and we were not kept particularly well informed. I have now had to ring you to find out where the final invoice is only to be told you should have had that from the project coordinator. I had actually worked that out for myself hence my call. I also have not received the independent final report and I am advised customer service will look into that! Not exactly exception customer care is it?

The original quote was very competitive so we decided to go with Playdale over other companies. Over a matter of months, it became clear that this was a mistake. First, they had measured incorrectly, then the costs started to spiral above our original budget so they had to quote for cheaper equipment, then they realised they couldn't get lorries onto site because of the width of our gates (even though originally we were told this was no problem at all). As we got closer to installation the cost went up again, the price of tarmac had gone up, we needed portable toilets, we needed additional skips...What should have been a summer holiday installation ran well into September with piles of concrete and metal rubble left outside classroom doors and half the playground left fenced off because it was unsafe for the children. Every time we chased with Playdale what was happening we were told how much of a loss they were making on our project and they were doing the best they could. Four weeks after they finally completed, some of the bolts on one piece of equipment came out and the rope came loose. We telephoned Playdale to ask them to come out and put this right only to be sent a diagram so our caretaker could fix it. Since then four more bolts have come loose. Quite frankly I would not touch this company again with a barge pole!

I have two I play units that have been out of action for some time, I asked playdale to attend and service the machines re covid lock down, I have spent a considerable amount of money on the proviso that they will be back to full working order. and they are still not working. very poor service.

We can ensure you this is not how we do business and after further investigation realised that the person you had originally dealt with left the business without passing on this information to the rest of the team to allow for the servicing of the units. Ordered pats to be replace as a playground inspection, given order to replace parts on 8th Feb. Stated that there was a wait of 7-9 weeks. Told week of work to be done was week beginning 12th April. Rang on 14th person I needed not at work will contact me, No contact I rang again 16th only to be told that my work to be done date is 3rd may. 12 week wait for replacement parts NOT HAPPY
