I have been to the Pirates Cave chandlery several times as I refurbish a Freedom 35 at Swale Marina buying items to treat teak inside and out, antifoul the boat, polish the hull, etc. I also ordered some clothing on line and collected from the chandlery. I always received exemplary service and useful advice from all members of staff. I will continue to shop at Pirates Cave for more items including sea toilet and stove.

I am still waiting for the remaining part of my order. Your order ref 77412 placed on the 19/04/2026 we have contacted you twice but still waiting. I also have a customer waiting for a small job to be completed. Not good.

Good morning Philip, Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay with your order. We had two units available for your order, which were dispatched 3 days after you placed your order. Unfortunately, the remaining two units were out of stock at the time. The outstanding items came back into stock on 21/05/2026, and we immediately dispatched them to you. According to DHL tracking, the parcel was successfully delivered on 22/05/2026. We completely understand the inconvenience and frustration this delay may have caused, especially with your customer waiting for the job to be completed. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the wait on your order and appreciate your patience and understanding.

I've been trying to contact you ref order #78015 four times today to establish the status of my order, and when I can expect delivery, but so far I have yet to receive a response! Poor show Pirates Cave Chandlery !!!

Eventally got what I ordered but it was more complicated than I thought. I ordered and item online and paid for it. That was on a Saturday so I expected the item would be picked and posted the following Monday. As it turned out it was not in stock. I had to ring them to find this out despite their delivery information on the website saying if out of stock they would keep me informed and offer me either a wait, an alternative or a refund. It turns out they had to get one of the items I ordered elsewhere. I can't understand why a company would take the order and payment for something they don't have or at least say Out of Stock on the website.

Hi Raymond, Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, due to a stock discrepancy over the weekend, one of the items showed as available online when it had actually sold out. As soon as this was identified, we quickly sourced the item from one of our suppliers to avoid cancelling your order and to make sure you still received what you needed. We completely understand your frustration regarding the lack of communication. Hi, overall very good, the product was great as discribed, my only criticism is that I wasn't informed that the part was out of stock, which meant I had to email to find out if the order had been shipped.

Don’t bother if you want something quick ordered a week ago and it would seem they have not processed order other than taking the money . They have not replied to an email asking when I can expect delivery hopeless

Won't respond to emails. Haven't answered phone. Order pulled through wrong address and can't seem to change anything. These means 100s of pounds worth of equipment going to wrong address and can't speak to anyone!
