I ordered some oat milks as they are a good price, but adding on the postage makes them the same as my local supermarket. But as it saves me carrying them, I ordered. But they were crushed by the other things I added to the order. One pack was badly crushed, but had not leaked thankfully, but when I shook it before opening, it leaked and went all over the place. The gluten free loaf is the exact same one our local health food shop sells for a lower price. As I don't eat meat, so won't need anything else, I don't see the point in ordering again.

Im rating this low as I was dismayed by the amount of plastic packaging. Everything was portioned into small amounts and shrink wrapped in thick plastic separately and then put inside another plastic bag. My council doesn’t recycle plastic wrappings and bags. Only bottles and hard plastic cartons. There was also a big box … unnecessarily large and plastic ice bags as well as plastic around sheeps wool insulation. I’m happy to use the wool in the garden. In order to return the plastic to them I would have to buy five more deliveries!! You’d be locked into a permanent cycle, Unfortunately I think maybe this model of shopping is unsustainable. It made me feel guilty. Sorry Pipers Farm as I loved your shop

Hi Juliet If we had it our way, we'd do away with packaging altogether, but to get our food to you in perfect condition we need to protect it. We have spent a lot of time, over many cups of tea, working out the best way to send out our lovely products to you. We have considered and tested many options to find the best solution that keeps your food at the perfect temperature, reduces your food waste, is easy and convenient to store and importantly doesn't harm our beautiful environment. You can read more about how to recycle, reuse or return packaging to Pipers Farm here. https://pipersfarm.com/pages/packaging If you would like to speak with us, please call on 01392 881380 and we will be happy to help Best Wishes Pipers Farm

the food is always wonderful but very disappointed by the customer service. I left two voice messages and one email after our order was delivered on 23rd December and no one has bothered to get back to me yet. I was therefore forced to eat the Turbot immediately which had been bought especially for the 26th,

Although the food was good the customer service has been extremely poor. I appreciate with the postal strikes that delivery was more challenging but the total lack of communication was appalling. My delivery was late and I was unsure what state the food would be in on its arrival. If I’d been able to speak to someone or received an email from Pipers Farm my mind might have been put at rest but despite several attempts no one called me back or emailed me. I will think twice about using Pipers Farm again.

Ordered 3x Oxtails. Most if it is the thinnest part of the tail whilst larger pieces were so full of fat. Very surprised considering the reviews. Disappointed o

I have no issue with your company. But the delivery service was atrocious and would probably affect whether I would use Pipers Farm again

Please change your delivery company. My delicious meat was delivered about 2 miles away and only because the people knew me, they delivered the meat the next day. This is the 2nd time since August. However the produce is excellent

I just boiled the unsmoked gammon joint and when I untied it the skin just fell off along with the fat that i wanted to keep on for the roasting. Once the skin had gone the 2.5k looked a lot smaller so not really that happy so far..

I was very impressed with the eco friendly packaging. However the braising beef I ordered was poor. Scrappy tiny pieces ! I was hoping to make something special with it but it was unsuitable. I still have to cook the venison from the same order, keeping my fingers crossed it is worth the fuel I use to cook it.

I thought the produce would be shipped fresh. I am not sure if it said it on the website. But it should have been clearer. Especially the baked good, like brioche bun.

Hugely excessive packaging. A huge box for some mince and small steaks. Was covered in matting which smelt of horse manure. Plus plastic freezer ice packs. Meat was very small portions for the cost. Meat contained too much moisture as frozen steaks tough cuts more suited to stewing cuts. All in plastic vacuum packs. Rest we discarded did not realise it would all be frozen.

Product was fine. However, the delivery service was abysmal. £240 of meat left on the doorstep, no knock on the door, nothing. You need to sort this out.

Hi Gordon, I am so sorry that we were let down by the delivery experience but I am grateful that you have let me know. Our arrangement with DPD is that our parcels are left if you are not at home when they deliver as the contents are perishable. We want to ensure that you receive your order on the requested delivery date. Whilst we would hope that drivers would know not to leave a parcel in direct sunlight, as evidenced by your experience, this isn't always the case. When placing your order, there is space to leave delivery instructions and to specify exactly where you like your parcel to be left - for example in a shed or shaded area. DPD also send you a notification as soon as a parcel is left with an image so you know when it has been delivered. I am so sorry that delivery spoilt your first experience of ordering with Pipers Farm, please do contact our customer care team hello@pipersfarm and they will be happy to help. All the best Pipers Farm

Sadly this second order was under par. First delivery was so good I wrote and complimented them. The lemon sole was so small - in this second order that it was ridiculous and the half shoulder didn't have the knuckle bone that I adore. Nothing was done about it. Very disappointing

I have been a customer of Piper’s farm and have always been extremely happy with the quality of the produce. HOWEVER, in my last order I ordered 4 sirloin steaks which were mostly fat and below an acceptable standard. I hope this is not a sign of all future quality. Very disappointed.

Hi Susan, Thank you for your review, I am sorry that your rubs were damaged in transit on their way to you however I am glad that we were able to help put this right for you. I have also passed this on to our team to take a closer look into our packaging and I do hope you enjoy your voucher for your next order. Please do let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Best wishes, Phoebe

Sadly the customer service following a query was not what was expected - it came across as very corporate and I'm pretty sure the approach taken would not be what the owners of the company would be pleased about. Left me disappointed as a repeat customer over a number of years as the food has always been excellent. Just shows that a poor customer experience over a small matter can taint one's views of a company, and was unnecessary.

Hi Sean I am sorry that you were disappointed by our customer service email exchange recently, I have looked into the email exchange about adding multiple discount codes to your order - I am afraid we remain a small working farm and we are not able to apply more than one discount to orders - we aim to be clear and transparent about and it is the same for everybody - including the business owners and all of our customers - sorry to disappoint you. We do appreciate your continued support and custom Best Wishes Pipers Farm

I am sorry to report, none of the products was excellent; the sausages tasted powdery, the bacon was tiny, thin, and a third of it was fat. A lot of fat again surrounded the loin of lamb, and just about did two people. The order was sent promptly, though, and communication was good via emails.

Hi Mark, I am so sorry that you were disappointed with the sausages, bacon and the lamb in your recent order but I am grateful that you have let me know. Please can you contact our customer care team hello@pipersfarm.com and they will take a few more details and do their best to put this right for you. We ensure all cuts of meat are within 10% of the advertised weight and the external layer of fat on the lamb is one of the reasons it is so loved by so many. Best Wishes Pipers Farm
