“Great quality meat and service at a competitive price for high welfare meat. The only negative would be the amount of plastic used in the packaging. Although, some of it can be recycled and they do offer ways to send it back to them.”

“I have bought several times from Pipers, the quality of their meat is excellent, we particularly love the steak burgers, the gluten free sausages and the lamb burgers are delicious. Their steaks are also excellent. They have an efficient set up from order to delivery which makes purchasing from them super easy. Can’t say enough good things about them really.”

“So far I have cooked the pork belly and the lamb loin. I didn’t tell anyone that this wasn’t supermarket meat. I didn’t have to. Everybody said it was the best lamb and pork they had ever tasted- and the pork crackling cut easily and was superlative. I cooked the lamb on top of celery carrots and onions- and then made soup out of the veg. That had to be tasted to be believed too. I usually eat organic or better welfare meat- but this was utterly exceptional. Thank you Pipers!”

“Although we live on a Scottish island our box of food arrives beautifully frozen in lovely packaging . We pay £14 for delivery but we buy a lot in one order. We buy mainly chicken as we don’t eat red meat and the chicken and items made from chicken are like they used to be. Very tasty ! Worth every penny and postage. Real food! Sometimes there is a wee free gift too!”

“Im rating this low as I was dismayed by the amount of plastic packaging. Everything was portioned into small amounts and shrink wrapped in thick plastic separately and then put inside another plastic bag. My council doesn’t recycle plastic wrappings and bags. Only bottles and hard plastic cartons. There was also a big box … unnecessarily large and plastic ice bags as well as plastic around sheeps wool insulation. I’m happy to use the wool in the garden. In order to return the plastic to them I would have to buy five more deliveries!! You’d be locked into a permanent cycle, Unfortunately I think maybe this model of shopping is unsustainable. It made me feel guilty. Sorry Pipers Farm as I loved your shop”

We have spent a lot of time, over many cups of tea, working out the best way to send out our lovely products to you. “There were a few issues some customers seem to have had with the Christmas postal disruption impacting on everyone business. However I had ordered my turkey in good time, with a welcome reduction and had a fantastic delivery experience. The turkey itself was superb. Just incredible meat and I used every inch of the bird. Recently I have bought the rolled turkey breast and again great service, great delivery and simply incredible meat. I appreciate well reared and well managed meat and I find the points very welcome to take a little bit off occasionally. Thank you for all you do.”
