“Product was fine. However, the delivery service was abysmal. £240 of meat left on the doorstep, no knock on the door, nothing. You need to sort this out.”

Hi Gordon, I am so sorry that we were let down by the delivery experience but I am grateful that you have let me know. Our arrangement with DPD is that our parcels are left if you are not at home when they deliver as the contents are perishable. We want to ensure that you receive your order on the requested delivery date. Whilst we would hope that drivers would know not to leave a parcel in direct sunlight, as evidenced by your experience, this isn't always the case. When placing your order, there is space to leave delivery instructions and to specify exactly where you like your parcel to be left - for example in a shed or shaded area. DPD also send you a notification as soon as a parcel is left with an image so you know when it has been delivered. I am so sorry that delivery spoilt your first experience of ordering with Pipers Farm, please do contact our customer care team hello@pipersfarm and they will be happy to help. “I'm always telling friends and clients that they should buy from Piper's Farm. The quality of everything I have bought from them is unbeatable. Our particular favourites are the burgers, the bavette steak, all the variety of butters. I am a nutritional therapist and am incensed by the current trend for pushing veganism when good quality, grass-fed meat in a nutrient power house, the fats in animal produce are supportive of the immune system as well as being anti-inflammatory and I really think the high quality producers such as Piper's Farm should be applauded and shared widely.”

“Easy to order, regular updates on delivery times and a wonderful selection of good quality foods. This was my first order and I will order again. I love the fact of how their animals are looked after and ow much care is taken with each order. Thankyou”

“The organic free range turkey mince is excellent . No added water just plenty of flavour . It is more expensive than supermarket brands but I use less of it and feel happier that the meat has come from a free range bird .”

“Really impressed with the quality of the meat which arrived quickly and at a time which suited me. What I particularly like is you can buy nose-to-tail cuts rather than being limited to the more popular cuts of meat suggested on other butchery sites. Yes, this meat has cost us more than our local butchers but we've massively cut down on the volume we eat and I wanted to specifically hunt out grass-fed meat (from an environmental point of view) which isn't available locally. It's been worth every penny for us.”
