“I was not happy with the service I received, the 2nd visit he didn't remove the rat droppings, only left bait, wasn't in the loft more than 5mins, considering it cost me for the 2 visits 168.00, very disappointed.”

“On the 25th of August Jamie cane round to treat my house . He didn’t mention any further cost if the treatment didn’t work in 2 weeks. I called Jamie back to say it hadn’t eradicated the fleas and he said give it another week. Initially he said give it 2 weeks. 3 weeks later I asked for a further spray and was then asked for more money . I wasn’t happy with that and told him so. I requested a 50% refund and he hasn’t returned my calls. Radio silence after £240 and still have an infestation. I warned Jamie I would do this so thank you for sending the feedback link. Jamie told me on the 22.9 to give him more time he was working on sorting this out but since that I have heard nothing .”

“Needed 3 visits at least. First visit put the poison down. Second visit no sign of rats but days later they reappeared. To get a third visit would have meant extra costs so contacted Council. No complaints about Paul, the bloke who came, he did his job and was helpful.”

“A very nice young man came to remove a wasp nest from my shed. It was a very small nest and needed only a small amount of spray on it. He removed it within ten minutes. I was pleased with the job he did but I think the cost was extortionate. That was not the young man's fault as he was doing his job. But it would put me and others off of calling PestControl.co.uk ever again.”

We understand £102 including VAT is a lot of money, especially in these times, and realise it might not seem value for money if it didn't take long to complete. We operate a fixed price, depending on the type of pest, so that customers have certainty over the cost. Some jobs can be easier to complete, and others can take longer, but everyone has the same certainty over the cost. All work is guaranteed, so if we need to return to re-treat, it will be completed at no charge. There are considerable costs involved in running a legitimate, professional business, but we accept this doesn't change the fact that £102 is a lot of money.

“Awful service was told by Phil the third treatment would be free and he won’t answer the phone on me or reply to my voice messages When he looked at the property he took less than 10 mins and didn’t even inspect properly Whilst fumigating the full house he literally took 15 mins Was very polite but did not seem to have little knowledge on bed bugs as he didn’t know they have castings etc i got new pest man to come take a look he was in so much shock at how he didn’t inspect home properly to find out the source he said there was bed bugs but not badly infested but he said he should of took a long time inspecting full house looking anything else when twice he was no more than 15 mins and the pest control said he wouldn’t clueless and that when doing bed bugs it shouldn’t take that quick as when every one he knows who do it spend at least an hour in each room and that he should of been here at least most of the day for full house ive since shown him picture and he asked where that was from and I told him my 4 month old baby nose and he said he would say that’s definitely a bed bug, every morning by baby is still waking up and her nose is full of blood and still getting bites most days Every time I ring phil to tell him he ignores me and mr voicemails, Could some one come do third treatment who has more experience and ring me monday on 07568574953 please Kind regards Rebecca”

“The pricing should be advertised on your website so it is transparent. I felt it was miscommunicated to me on the phone by the Pest Control expert and I explained this to him when he arrived for the first visit, for which he apologised. I was very much of the impression that it was £102 for two visits, not £102 per visit! I would not have agreed to this had I known. Whatsmore, I was charged for the second visit during the first visit which was a shock. I also had to call Pest Control to ask when the second visit would be despite being told by the Pest Control expert that he would call me. The second visit did not involve much more than checking the infestation, removing the bait and giving some advice which was disappointing considering it cost £102. I definitely wouldn't use Pest Control again.”

“I called pest control as I have a problem with mice. Received a visit the following day and traps were put down. I caught a couple in my own trap so called the pest control to come back. He wasn’t happy but came back the following day. He put some wire wool down and went. A week later I called again as I was still finding mice in my own trap. I was told there was nothing more he could do and if he came out again I would be charged. This contradicts what I was initially told when I was told it was a one off payment until the problem was solved. I have since caught another 5 mice in my own trap. I feel like I have wasted £90 and would never use this company again.”

“David Lines came to see me about the Mice problem on 17th January . He was very through and checked over the house and left posion where he felt the Mice would feed on. Plus checked outside and covered airbricks again where he suggested they may try and get in. 3 weeks later I had noticed signs of Mice dropings in the draws and various other places. So very disappointed to see that his visit did not solve the problem. He is now coming back again on 21st February and Iguess I will have to pay more money to see what he may suggest. “180.00 for a cursory 15 min inspection visit + 3 baited traps followed by a 10 min follow up visit was far too expensive and needless. no rats were caught either by pest control set traps or by identical traps set by homeowner initial panic viewing rats on property results in seeking expensive pest control assistance when same result easily achievable by buying cheap traps online”

“Was disappointed as the guy was here for less than 20 minutes and charged £84 just to put bait down in 4 rooms. I could've done that myself. I expected him to do more... He was extremely pleasant so not a criticism of him but you cannot justify charging that amount .....definitely will not recommend”

“To be honest I wasn’t that impressed for the money it cost for a technician to pop round for no more than 5 minutes. The problem is still there I don’t think the first visit was any good. The technician did t investigate anywhere to see if there was any other problems elsewhere. If anything this experience just made me more determined to solve the problem myself.”

“Had used PestControl.co.uk before with good results to remove wasp problem. Because I was pleased with service I used them again. However, I got someone different this time and I was not impressed with their service on this second visit which was to deal with a rat infestation in a loft. The chap was very reluctant wih any advice and I felt I had to work hard to establish what he was doing, why and the next steps. He was keen to book a follow up appointment though even before he had finished treating the issue. He basically left poison for the rats and left. Not a service worth £96. Won't be troubling them again.”

“Whilst the service I originally received was good, I was told I was going for the long term solution and the ants would not disappear overnight. I was fine with this. I’m sure the technician told me I could call back within 3 months if they had not gone. Just under 3 months later I called to say the ants had returned and was Told it must be another ant colony as I had left it too long to contact them.the ants are in exactly the same place and maybe had not fully appeared again as it had not been warm. All I was offered was a half price treatment. What’s to say every time they came back I would be told the same thing? It’s a new colony so the guarantee is invalid? My mum paid more for her treatment with another company and hers have not returned. Buy cheaper, buy twice.”

“Noises in the loft prompted me to contact someone, shame it was your company. Â£90 for 2 minutes putting down some bait and spending no time in the loft really looking for the cause of the problem ie didn't lift loft insulation etc. Came back 2 weeks later same again and another Â£90. Response time was good but service and cost means I wouldn't recommend.”

“Your operative, though please the did say he had only been doing the job for a short time! He put the fox trap.on loose soil and did not camaflage it in any way. The Fox dug beneath the trap and the food fell through mesh. Research says that mesh floor should always be covered with sand or soil and the trap. Fully camaflaged. No fox was caught .unhappy with result.”
