“Does the job OK but the extruder instructions are inconsistentas one instruction says that the black nozzle is for grout and one instruction says that the grey nozzle is for grout. Worth testing the mix on a small area before using (I didn't - very messy!) as if the grout is too stiff, it won't extrude.”

“Great, fast service. Only problem was, with all the speed of delivery I didn't get my tanking brush that I ordered with my stuff. Not a big deal though.”

We are sorry you have had trouble with finding the tanking brush - they are usually put inside one of the buckets so if you haven't checked yet it might be hiding inside one of them! “Membrane good, delivery good. Pegs! Drilling cement render into stone. When locating pegs, several wouldn't travel last third to get seal. Changed to 8mm bit, bore to large. Would pay more for a better peg system as lost quite some time rectifying problems”

We're sorry to hear that you had issues fitting some of the plugs, we do have high tolerance plugs that work well in multiple surfaces, but due to the high cost of these we are not able to include them in the kits. “We have used Permagard to tank a wall surrounding the underside of our park home, the other side of which retained a built-up patio. Rainwater seeping into the patio sub-surface through the porous flagstones gradually found its way through the retaining wall, leading to pooling on the concrete base. We ordered a tub of Parmagard on-line and were impressed by the speed of delivery. Applying the product was difficult due to the restrictive space under our home and the fact that the trailer on which the parkhome was delivered to the site was still in place, the wheel of which was very close to the wall. However the tanking product was easy to mix, and to apply, and two coats were applied over two days. However we found that water continued to come through the retaining wall in certain places that had been difficult to access. So we then produced a much thicker mix which was trowelled over those areas. Because one particular spot was definitely impossible to reach, and was discovered to have a significant gap in the masonry which could not be blocked, we used more of the powder to create a bund on the concrete base to direct any water that may continue to seep through in that particular area towards a drain hole further along, past the patio. The remaining powder will be used to paint on a third coat of tanking.”
