“simply and easy to complete. Considered getting 2 plans (one location and one block) for the application I made to the consenting local planning authority. Found it a bit of a pain to go in and out to compare and consider this for our needs. In the end got this plan and also used a paper one. Could not easily re-review it having manually coloured it red and blue. The plan also on the portal is not up to date with old (10 years ago) changes in the local area of our house/drive etc. payments and so on OK Think you could re-review this process to make it easy to review after the work..Mine was a bit messy and I couldn't be bothered to re-do. Thanks”

“I was very disappointed with the plan as it so small. I thought it would cover at least an A4 size sheet. I have a plan from the Land Registry which was far better and certainly did not cost me £16.80. What good that plan is to the planning dept I have no idea. I can only imagine the reason they advertise your site is they must get good commission. It is daylight robbery. It’s very bad value as it has cost you next to nothing to send to me on-line. Anybody connected with this scheme I believe should be behind bars!! The only reason I didn’t give you a score of very poor was at least the plan is up to date. David Jones”

“This was for a change of use application. The street plan didn't even seperate the block into 3 different units as it is and so I had to actually design the plan myself as the one from buyaplan was rejected so that was a waste of £12”

“Buying a plan for our location was very simple, but the ability to buy a second plan of the same location (at a different scale) could have been simpler as I had to start again from scratch, instead of just selecting multiple scales. Also, the accuracy of the plan was not brilliant. Not only did it not show my neighbours existing extensions (which I can accept and understand), it also showed my neighbours houses in the wrong place by comparison to my own!! I had to amend the plan to put the actual buildings in the correct places! I would use the service again as I am sure these issues will be common across all services as they are based on the Ordnance Survey maps, and they are the ones that are wrong!”

“The plan was fine BUT the Local Authority initially rejected it [for a Freehold application] because the property was not highlighted with a red border. It was easy to rectify but I was surprised. Mind you, the LA (Islington) also rejected the plan attached to its own deeds and the Land Registry so perhaps they were feeling bloody-minded....”
