“This was expensive and you delivered a flawed plan. I selected a red outline and clicked in the garden area of a property to highlight the boundary of the whole property. The red outline was omitted where the wall of the house and the boundary coincided. That meant my planning application was rejected by the council planning dept. You plans are touted as ideal for the purpose of planning applications, yet it can deliver a plan that does not comply with the relevant legislation. That is unacceptable and that unacceptability is made worse by the high cost.”

Thank you for your review and I am sorry you have a negative experience on our site. It is impossible for a boundary to be set for a map without the customer having selected the boundary with the red line. If a customer inadvertently adds incorrect boundaries to their map and receives an incorrect area we are pleased to offer a 70% refund so that they may re order a correct selection. If the underlying Ordinance Survey map is incorrect we are happy to provide a full refund. The majority of our customers are satisfied with our service and it is a rare occurrence for a map to be incorrect. I trust you will have a more positive experience if you use our service again.

“Buy a plan claims it takes 5 minutes to create...several days and numerous log in attempts I was told there was a n issue with the site.”

Thanks for your review. Unfortunately we suspect that during the check out process either the back button was hit in error, or the internet went down causing a delay for you. Sincere apologies, I trust you were happy with the plan once it was delivered.

“The plan was great, but I suspect the program isn’t totally mobile-friendly as initially I found it quite difficult to edge the building in red. I had to start again, but the end result was very good. If I hadn’t had these difficulties I would have given it 5 stars.”

“The plan was nice and clear, but was hoping there’d be an option to have dwg version too. Tried converting the pdf to dwg on autocad, but this didn’t work. Should be made clearer that only pdfs are provided!”

“Fairly easy to use. But when an error was made I found it difficult to correct so ended up having to complete red area so that I could delete and start again. The map when finished was good”

“Your service was the best I've had. Very quick and no need for any physical contactor fancy codes or the like. Just put in the postcode, select from the list, mark the boundary, pay the fee and get the map. Just what I needed, thanks.”

“Very poor service. I made a mistake on the plan as l believe the instructions are not clear. I contacted your customer service, they said you would contact me but that never happened. Will never use your services again”

Please get in touch via the support form on the site and we will be happy to help. If a customer selects the incorrect boundaries in error we are happy to refund 70% of the cost of the plan.

“uncontactable. No telephone number for when things go wrong. If you do manage to dig it out its just a lady who takes a message to then email them. Literally no help at all. Do not reply to emails. Do not use.”

We have a contact form on our site, and you can email us at support@buyaplan.co.uk . We also have a new contact tel service as follows 0330 1332950. When a customer has made an error with the red line boundaries and receives an incorrect selection we are happy to refund 70% of the cost so that they may re order the correct selection. If the underlying mapping from the OS is incorrect (which is rarely the case), we will provide a 100% refund.
