I was dreading this might be complicated and difficult. No. Very quick and easy.

The plan was what planning required but one or two things in my opinion might help. Although the house is centred on the drawing it would help if the house number was printed inside the highlighted property. The numbering of some properties is not always consecutive and when this happens it would be nice if the plan showed that anomaly. Numbering of properties around the highlighted property would be nice.

This is a very straight forward and easily understood method of purchasing plans for making planning applicastions.

I found it difficult to use the site to get the number of plans I needed and after making a draft application for the planning consent I needed have found that the plans I had from you do not cover the whole of my garden so are useless.

Overpriced for a very basic plan I could have done myself with little effort

Also has issues with not having 2 street names and North arrow. Your excuse is fine, but the planning departments demand them, even though you are a recommemded supplier on the planning portal. Therefore wasted money on having to buy an extra plan

Plan was not as seen on screen. Had planning department question boundary as the line was thick on the screen view, but on actual plan was thin and missed the edge of boundary. Far too much money for what you receive.

Very good and easy to use site. But the tools for drawing the boundaries need to be better. They don’t select the boundaries well and the manual drawing tools are poor.

Plan only used a quarter of the A4 page if that. Plan should fill well over 3/4 of the page to be of any use. Correct size was selected etc.

I find downloading the plans and drawing over them easier than using your redline and titling system.

Used buy a plan for my extension application. the council rejected the plan at first as they didn't think there was a north arrow on the map but accepted it when I pointed out the very small one in the corner. Also I had to change the ratio from 1:500 to 1:1000 for it to be accepted

Good location plan. To let you know the bad points:- I've now found it slightly cheaper elsewhere by 50p. When drawing lines doesn't offer a snap function and if you draw blue and red lines on same line, the first one is invisible.

A good place to buy Survey maps, I use it on a regular basis with no problems. Recommended

Directed by the planning portal to buy black plans from here, Plans then rejected by the council due to not having any street names on them

Thanks for the message. In some areas it may not be possible to fit on two street names due to the way the Ordnance Survey mapping has been created. This is particularly common in rural areas. Our plans (PDF version only) also show an OS grid reference (an easting and northing) which will help locate the planning office into the exact location thereby negating the need for street names. We recommend contacting your planning office to explain this as the alternative is to manually add a street name on after printing it out.
