“What I like about parcel direct is how easy it is to use and the very competitive rates even though they use leading couriers like Ups and DHL but at much less than their quoted rates. You can get an estimate with minimal key strokes. Even when sending a commercial package beyond the European Union parcel direct leads you through all the required paperwork relatively painlessly. And the site even prints out all this paperwork and tells you how to affix it to your parcel. After which all you have to do is to wait for the pickup which has automatically been booked by the site. It's win win.”

“I hadn't used Parcel Direct before I had a need to send a very important set of papers to South Africa last year. I can only say that Parcel Direct did a stupendous job. The courier was punctual and delivery was make the following day directly to the door of the person I was sending the parcel to. Rates were very reasonable and staff. both on the phone and in person were friendly and efficient. I have had the good fortune to use them a few times since with the same wonderful results. I couldn't say enough good about the service but suffice it to say it was excellent and now I would never think of using anyone else to deliver anything important for me to anywhere in the world it needs to go. Best service in the business.”

“Disastrous. Didn't collect when they were supposed to on a Friday. It was only when I made contact that they discovered that the collection had been allocated to the wrong centre. Then had to wait all weekend before having the parcel collected eventually on the Monday. Delivery to the UK destination took longer than promised also. No customer service. Avoid.”

Hi Arthur, Thanks very much for taking the time to write to us. I am very sorry for what happened with your shipment. I have had a look at your shipment and it does seem the collection request went to the wrong depot. Once we were made aware of this in the evening we contacted the courier to rectify this. Unfortunately couriers only work from Monday to Friday, so the next collection slot was the following Monday. From looking at the tracking it seems it was collected on the Monday and delivered on the Wednesday which would be within the timeframe. We are of course very sorry for your experience and if you choose to use us again we will guarantee a first rate service. All the best, PD
