“Easy to quote and book, a good price but the first collection failed with no notification. Was collected the following working day and was successfully delivered. Had we received some sort of notification that the first collection was going to fail it would have been 4 stars. Will use the service again, but I will need to monitor the collection closer.”

Dear Wayne, Thank you for your review. We're really pleased that your goods were delivered in the end, but we're sorry to hear about the problem with your first collection. We understand how important it is to know if a collection isn't going to happen as planned. Unfortunately, we don't always find out about missed collections right away. This is because not every vehicle in the network is fitted with a cab phone that can make external calls, which means we might not know about a missed collection until the end of the day when they return to the depot. If you notice your goods haven't been picked up by 4pm, please chat with us on LiveChat and we can quickly check what's happening for you. We're really glad to hear you'll use our service again. We will speak with the network to see if there's anything that can be done to improve communication when it comes to failed collections. “I’m unhappy with the service I paid around £87 in total to get 9 boxes of flooring collected. When the guy arrived he said I had to provide the palette. I had NO CLUE I had to do this because I didn’t even get a confirmation email to explain anything. I thought someone was going to turn up with the palette. So I was charged £24 extra to get someone to return the next day to collect again. The man who came the next day was super helpful though and helped me carry heavy flooring onto the palette as he didn’t give me 30 minutes notice because he couldn’t see my mobile number. I’m super unhappy with the price of this though it’s really unaffordable.”

We understand that pallet delivery costs can appear higher compared to standard parcel delivery, mainly due to the specialised nature of our service, involving specific equipment, larger vehicles, and trained professionals. Please be assured that we regularly review our prices to keep them competitive and affordable, striving to provide you with the best value and quality service in this industry. Our service operates on the basis that goods should be palletised before pick-up, and are easily accessible for our driver. We've made this as clear as possible on both the confirmation page after you've completed your payment, and in the confirmation email that follows. I've double-checked our records just to be sure, and I can see that your booking confirmation was sent out right after your payment. These confirmations are sent automatically to avoid any delay, ensuring you have all the necessary details for preparing your items for collection. Regarding the 30-minute heads-up from our drivers, we understand that it's helpful to have that advance notice. While our drivers do their best to call ahead, sometimes it's not possible due to restrictions with their cab phones; some are only able to make calls to the depot and the emergency services. Whilst we request a call 30 minutes before arrival on every booking, sadly, it's not something we can guarantee every time. It's great to hear that our driver was able to help you with the flooring on the following day. Our team is always striving to be as helpful and efficient as possible. “I am 88 years old and at first, I was wary of not being able to talk to a person. However, I persevered and the helpline was fabulously helpful the operation was slick and helpful and the job was done so smoothly with no hitches.
