“I booked a colection and delivery for an engine part repair followed byt the collection and return to the garage. The first one i had paid for next day, am, delivery but sadly it was collected a day late. The return order was collected and delivered as it should have been but the tracker was useless! Spent all day checking it just to get an email late in the evening to say it was delivered at lunch time. Not sure that i would use this company again”

Hi Susan, Thanks for your feedback, and sorry for the frustration caused. Just to clarify a couple of points: If goods haven’t moved forward in the network, we’re unable to provide tracking updates - this is why the tracker may have appeared inactive until later in the day. Also, we offer AM delivery slots, not AM collections- if there was any confusion there, we’re happy to explain further. Glad the return leg went smoothly, and we do appreciate you giving us a go. If you decide to try us again, we’ll aim to give you a much better experience throughout. 🚛👍

“great service and communication from start to finish. The offer of provding a pallet and wrapping is very helpful. Provision of boxes and bubblewrap would be helpful also.”

While we appreciate the suggestion about offering boxes and bubble wrap, the goods do need to be fully prepared and ready to go at the time of collection, as our drivers operate on tight schedules. “I paid extra for my wheels to be shrink wrapped onto a pallet to prevent them being damaged in transit but when they turned up they were just strewn across the back of the lorry. They still charged me for the wrapping service!”

The Pallet & Wrap service involves shrink wrapping and securing items to a pallet, either at the point of collection or back at the depot, depending on the driver’s schedule and loading requirements. Both methods are part of the service and meet the standard we provide. While items may not always be wrapped immediately at collection, care is still taken during handling and transit. “The driver rang about 20 minutes ahead of arrival, to let me know he was getting near. He knew the area, and was able to find our lane without difficulty. He manouvered the (7.5t) truck very well, and was loaded up and gone within a few minutes. He was pleasant and helpful. The pallet arrived 400 miles away within the time slot I'd booked, as you'd hope. All good, really. Improvements? I guess if Palletline could give some indication of when in the day the collection was going to happen, that would be helpful, but I'd certainly use them again even if not.”
