it's always showing wrong collection dates and delivery dates, when you booking the pallet it's actually a day later

Coastal areas are classed as outer regions for us, and pre-3pm collections can be a bit more challenging to arrange with precision. Things started to go badly wrong when you negligently sent out Gregory Transport with a 250kg tail lift vehicle to collect my fully declared 500kg pallet load of quarry tiles. That scuppered the next day delivery I'd paid for and the goods were left sitting outside my premises for another twenty six hours until you got a second suitable vehicle to collect them. I'm sure you'll post some smart alec reponse that falsely makes you look like you sorted this out better than was the case, but you only get once chance to make a first impression.

Dear Frank, We apologise for the disruption and delay in your delivery. Unfortunately, the depot mistakenly sent a vehicle with a 250kg tail lift, even though we provided the correct booking information for a 500kg load. In most cases, tail lifts in our network handle up to 750kg without issue, but regrettably, this error resulted in your goods sitting outside your premises longer than expected. For context, we have a 97% on-time delivery rate (as you will know), though in the 3% where delays can occur, we advise having means to store goods temporarily. Thousands of collections and deliveries proceed smoothly each week, and while we strive to prevent such incidents, we do not guarantee specific delivery dates for these reasons. The depot did arrange a suitable vehicle the following day, and the goods arrived safely, albeit a day later than planned. This response isn’t intended to be dismissive but simply to present the facts. Your goods arrived undamaged, and we are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience the delay caused. Your letter has been received and is with our Customer Service Manager for review and any necessary action. Thank you for your feedback, and apologies again for any frustration caused.
