I ordered a compost bin from The Composting People (part of Gutter Mate?). I received an email from Gutter Mate on 13th April, stating that DPD would deliver on the 16th. It never arrived at all. The reason for non-delivery (according to The Composting People) was that DPD had lost the delivery - so maybe not the fault of Gutter Mate. A refund is being processed by The Composting People and I ordered a compost bin from another company. It arrived 2 days later.

My wormery arrived with inadequate or out of date instructions. None of the items in side were labelled. The result of adding 3L of water to the starter soil was soup ! We then decided it was the other bag we should have soaked but this turned out to be worm treats. We started our wormery with both . We had no clue where to put the mat ,top or bottom of worms ? The next day the garage floor was covered with escaped worms which I had to put back before they died. All of this happened at the weekend when there was no advice available from you. It wouldn’t have taken much effort from you to update your instructions and label a few bags !i was quite upset because I’ve waited ages before getting my wormery and I was very concerned about the worms and not looking after them properly. My husband spoke to someone on the Monday who was able to tell us what to do.

My order took nearly 2 weeks to arrive. When it did it was incorrect and incomplete. I had to send 3 different chase up mails to get the issue resolved. Didn't feel like a valued customer and the whole transaction was quite slap-dash to be honest. Won't use again.

Item arrived with fixings missing, telephoned the next day (tues), took until the following Mon to arrive only to have been sent the wrong item. Phoned same day and was told that the correct item would be sent. I asked that it be sent first class so that it would arrive Wed. Did not arrive Wed so phoned again, only to be made to feel like I shouldn't be complaining about the service. Very defensive and sarcastic with no explanation as to why the errors occurred. The correct item finally arrived on Fri. Original item arrived on the 10 April and was finally able to use it on 20th. It was bought as a birthday present for my son. Not the service I would expect.

The product is as described on the website and of good quality. I'm disappointed with the payment process on the website and nearly cancelled my order as a result. The Order Review was confusing as the product price was displayed inclusive of VAT, the delivery charge was exclusive of VAT and the Grand Total, although correct, obviously wasn't the sum of the charges listed. Once I worked out that the numbers were correct I placed an order. This page listed the items I'd ordered but all the values were zero with the exception of the delivery charge. At that point I was no longer confident that the website was genuine.

Despite sending a photo I was recommended a water butt considerably smaller than the one I was replacing. It also has no overflow. Very disappointed with the purchase and their advice

I ordered a water butt @£35. The tap does not fit the hole-the screw is far too short to get it in. Consequently the water butt is unusable. Can you send a better tap please?

Ordered product and then wondered why I hadn't received it. Several emails later was informed the colour I wanted was out of stock although this information wasn't on the website. Requested an alternate colour and several emails later was told it would be dispatched. Roughly one month from original order. Admin not up to scratch sorry. Product also could do with modifications.

The stand kit that you sent me with my water butt did not have the top clips to keep it together. I emailed you to ask you to send them to me but have not had the courtesy of a reply. Last year I ordered a product that was not delivered. This year I ordered a product that was delivered with a broken lid. I contacted the company to replace the lid but received no reply and no lid.

It was most likely not your fault but I ordered a "Tiger Wormery" from Organics and it did not arrive. You took payment from my account immediately but I got no explanation. After almost 3 months, I received 2 wormeries. Organics did not explain that they had sub-contracted the order to you, and I heard nothing.

The tap supplied with the water butt was not fit for purpose. It had too fine a thread and was far too easily cross-threaded after which it was impossible to tighten it up sufficiently to form a seal. I e-mailed customer service asking for a replacement but received no reply - not even an acknowledgement. I bought a much better one from Wickes for £3.99, but I should not have had to do this.

Had no communication about any products being out of stock but it took 2 weeks before I received my items. Had an email 3 days after ordering to say they'd been dispatched but nothing turned up for over a week. Sent an email asking what's going on and had no reply.

although the product ( plastic water butt) is great, the circular top was broken when it arrived. I have communicated with you over this, sent photos etc but no replacement top has been forthcoming. I look forward to givinga high grade on the survey when this arrives!!

WHen the product arrived the lid has a crack in the corner. I have emailed twice now and not heard anything. Do you think you could pass this on and maybe someone could get bet to me? !!!
