Very happy with the product once it was installed. Not happy with the time it took to start and complete the job which ran over several weeks

Initially we were pleased with the Tri-Fold doors. They made a great improvement to our kitchen-conservatory living space. However, we have had a number of issues. Firstly the doors were delivered with the wrong size glass. The corners of the doors were very sharp and these damaged the door seals during installation. These issues were corrected after a few weeks delay. During the first weeks of use we noticed the latch tongue was catching on the frame and starting to damage the paint. Photographs of the latch mechanism were sent to the local supplier and Origin, showing a poorly fitting latch in the door. That was March 2015. An Origin fitter came to inspect the problem eventually and said the door frame gap was not big enough. For months this issue has gone on. With our supplier and Origin passing the buck. By September we had had enough. It took me less than 1 hour to make and fit a small strike plate costing less than a pound to fix the issue, something the door should have had in the first place. Overall A reasonably good product, but spoilt by lack of attention to detail and overall very poor customer support.

I recently had 2 bi-fold doors installed and absolutely love the product, good quality, profiles and mechanically well designed. Unfortunately, let down by our installer! Choose wisely. Would have given a higher rating otherwise.

The job is still not complete so have not been able to use the new room in which the doors were installed. We'll be happy to write a review when the new room is finished. Peter Evans

The frames are good but the installation process has become rather annoying. The door got installed as planned on 20th February. But until today 4th April we are still waiting for a final outside cover to be installed. We had been given several dates but either we received short notice cancellations "due to the weather" or just no-shows. As we are all busy people this is unacceptable and it give me the feeling that once the money is paid, service is seriously lacking. Ralph Welpe

The Magnets on the Bi folding Doors are not strong - When you have high winds the door detaches from the magnet. I have had to replace glass panes twice. I requested for additional magnets and have had no response.

Bi-fold doors are good quality although I have since discovered they are pricey compared to competition. Local agent was a nightmare. Initially polite and attentive but logistics and follow through were awful. Surveyor kept going on holiday without passing on details, delays in placing the order as they lost the measurements, the person who described himself as "just the buyer" when I phoned up once day appeared on site a month after the initial measurements had been taken, let himself on site, and tried to retake the measurements before I knew he was there. When challenged about who he was, why he was in on my site without me knowing, what he was doing and eventually why hadn't my windows been already ordered a month before he threatened me and asked me to go in the front room away from the builders so he could "have a word". Never use them and therefore Origin again.

I loved the product, I think it's superior to all other options I saw during long periods of research. However, I think our installation *really* let us down, and I felt it was difficult to address because the procedure seems to be that I can only liaise with the installation team and not directly with Origin. By the time I needed help the communication with the installation company had really broken down and I didn't feel they care. I felt they botched the installation and that as a result I have a less wonderful product, which is very sad.

Excellent product but some damage caused by builder both during and after fitting. Also unsure if correctly fitted as rollers in top guide do not rotate.

It is obvious to me that you manufacture a quality product. Unfortunately your product is only as good as the company that orders and installs it. The company I chose to install your product let me down badly I'm afraid to say. In my opinion they have also let Origin down too.
