“the bracelet was pretty - i was confused because i thought it was a ring - that was what i wanted and when I put ring into the fitler - this item was displayed. not exactly what i thought i ordered but it is pretty.”

“Didn’t know about this site before. I wanted to find a pair of Chanel earrings as a present. After searching online and comparing prices I chose to order on open for vintage. Good communication with them and my order arrived within a week and as shown. Happy with the result and will order again”

“I ordered an $18k birkin bag for my girlfriend’s birthday only to be told it was cancelled the very next day and there’s still a hold on my credit card preventing me from getting her a replacement gift on time. Further, I was never given a reason for the cancellation. Awful service..”

Dear Chris, We sincerely apologise that you had a poor experience. The issue is that we only have one of every item which means that sometimes they can sell in a retail store and an online customer can make a purchase before the stock level is updated. This is rare but can happen. I understand both our Boutique Manager and Head of Merchandise have reached out to you personally in order to help find a replacement. They are extremely knowledgeable so please use them as a resource. As regards the refund, having investigated this it would appear that this was done the day after the sale which fell on a weekend causing a short delay in funds being transferred back on to your card. “Been waiting for my order since 28 April. Have messaged OFV and both times have said they are looking into what is happening with the courier but that is it - not keeping me informed and up to date . Needless to say I am disappointed as this is my first time using them albeit I ordered something before this item and after quite a few days got informed they had cancelled the order as it was no longer available. Not sure about using in the future as not a great experience so far”

“Tried four times to pay for a pair of earrings via PayPal. My address was put in property but each time it had been the same random address - not mine on the PayPal payment page. Contact with Customer Services was futile. Unfortunately I’ve had to abandon the purchase- shame- they lost a £645 sale and I’ve lost the chance to purchase a nice pair of earrings”

“This was such a smooth experience from start to finish. The team were great to deal with as I had a couple of questions about the Louis Vuitton bag I was ordering. Delivery was really quick, there were no hidden delivery costs and I just adore my bag, it’s in perfect condition. I’ve now bought from Open for Vintage on four further occasions, it’s super for buying unique gifts, and delivery has always been smooth. All in all I’m very impressed with the service & experience.”

“Wanted a particular Louis Vuitton bag and trying to be more sustainable but nervous about buying preowned – fakes, condition a worry. Came across OFV and so happy.
