Personally, it was my first time using this website. It may not be their fault but the bag I received considering the price I paid was absolutely awful. Gucci bag was stained as if a drink had been poured on it. I emailed to get a refund and was issued one.

Not sure will I recommend this website : The whole process is smooth , OFV deals with all taxes and delivery , price on the website is exactly what I paid for the item to be delivered from Japan , no additional cost, HOWEVER when I was unboxing the parcel I found dead insect which is unbelievable and ridiculous , a chanel bag and insect together …………..………

Poor communication, purchase took over 5 weeks to arrive, continuously had to be chased, duty wasn’t paid at first. Felt like once you had made the purchase they had washed their hands of what happened next as I had to do all the chasing. Will give the bag to the wife for her next Birthday or Xmas now!! Same as other reviews, was told coming from France and then seemed to have to come from Japan!

Had an issue with paying import duties which were meant to be included in price .... eventually resolved after 4 attempts !

Damage to the bag that wasn’t in the listing and only offered £40 as a refund even though a day later I was offered £30 off my next purchase. Really difficult to get a reply from anyone, had to email multiple times. I won’t be buying from you again and will discourage others too

My product was delayed for about 3 weeks due to issues at Italian customs. I ordered the sunglasses for a work trip / shoot and received mixed information about the product's location. Colin at Open for Vintage was excellent in assisting me with this process. Unfortunately, I had to provide extra information to DHL (due to them classifying sunglasses as a medical device) to clear it at customs (including my social), which was uncomfortable. After being cleared one week later, I then had to pay DHL extra money as fees. All of these delays and the effort on my end to follow up before the item was returned to the sender definitely deterred me from using Open for Vintage again. I have a lot of friends who love the site and recommended me, who were all disappointed with my experience. I am patiently waiting a refund for shipping costs and DHL taxes and fees.
