“The course content was good and it was easy to read and understand. The tutor always replied very quickly to messages and the portal was easy to use. I do feel that the questions on the assignments were not worded in a way that was easy to fulfil. Maybe more guidance could be given on the number of words expected and websites that would contain relevant information. I did feel like I wasted a lot of time locating information that wasn`t included in the course content.”

“The tutor was helpful, but it may be wise to understand that not all people taking this course have a good understanding of how to write an essay. I found this very hard, trying to get the point across whilst trying to grasp the very strict guidelines needed to submit the essay to your standards. Got the hang of it by about the fourth essay! Also, more communication is needed once you have finished the course. I submitted my last essay and did not hear anything from you until I chased my results 3 months later. Even a quick email letting me know I had passed and when I could expect my certificate would have been useful. I know it says in your guide 10 weeks, but having not heard anything for 3 months I was very concerned. Even going on to your site gave me no help as when I logged in I was told no courses were linked to my details. So to sum up, yes this was a good course, with expert advice throughout, but was let down at the end with a lack of communication.”

“Hi, I have extremely enjoyed and benefited from all the topics and information I was presented with, within my course of choice. It was clearly visible that the assignments were prepared in a studied manner in terms of their gradual introduction of the topic, to tackling its specifics; a method which I personally found quite professional. My personal experience with OLC tutors was a memorable one. They review the work with care, skilfully guide you towards areas you need to address; and justly grade you. I appreciate all of that, as well as their time. Thank you, and wishing you more prosperity.”

“I did the Supporting Teaching and Learning course Level 3 Cache Award this year and have just passed and completed the course. I throughly enjoyed doing it and had a wonderful tutor Robyn who gave me advice, support and feedback on my assignments. I am now hoping to be able to work part time in a school as a Teaching or Learning support assistant in the future.”

“The course content was interesting and has proved very useful in practical situations. Whilst the tutor was friendly their response times were particularly slow in some instances, I understand this was due to high submission volumes due to COVID-19. There was very little if any ‘tutoring’ involved, they simply graded and noted what was missed in a very basic manner. Questions asked were not really answered and help requested was not received.”

“I've done level 2 in childcare and it was amazing experience. Would like to thank my tutors for guidance, they were excellent. Tutors are encouraging you to do more and better, are quick to reply and guide you. I would advise everyone who wants to enroll to buy additional books, as college provides only basic materials. I have gained invaluable knowledge. I can't wait to start my next course. I would highly recommend this college.”
