“Online was a bit of a bind, would prefer telephone. Kept me updated but took almost 4 hours. My Phone battery was almost depleted so was anxious in case it went totally flat. Breakdown guy was lovely. If this had happened to the hubby who is unable to use online services he would of been up the creek”

“Breakdown service kept me updated. I wasn't there when recovery vehicle arrived, my friend who was there said the recovery man was very helpful and pleasant. One thing, when contacting breakdown I had to go online. I wondered what I would have done if I was in an isolated location.”

“First time using the portal, wasn't too happy about it rather than an agent taking down my details, thinking that would be quicker. However completing required information was not difficult. The response I received with a mechanic arriving was very good and speedy. The mechanic identified the problem and made arrangements for my car to be taken to the garage I requested. Mechanic was also friendly and polite. Excellent service. What does the optional questions about a courier delivery have to do with my vehicle breakdown? Very puzzlingly.”

“Relatively quick response and the gentleman who attended to us was very polite and helpful and got us on our way promptly. He took the time to wait and see if we were successful in setting off which was thoughtful.”

“The pick-up lorry arrived an hour earlier than at first notified, found my car in the car park, quickly diagnosed the problem. He then got the car onto the rear of lorry and agreed to take my car to my repair garage. He was courteous and helpful at every stage. Excellent and speedy service - thank you!”

“Excellent service. First time I used them today when I broke down on motorway. Spoke to someone straightaway who arranged for roadside assistance to come out. Very reasonable £20 callout fee. Someone was with me within 1.5 hours and diagnosed the problem and car was taken to garage. Would recommend.”

“Excellent, I had to request breakdown recovery 😟 online and was anxious as I’m not very technical It was straight forward and within 2 mins my breakdown tow truck sent a message to say would be with me shortly, within approximately 35 minutes the tow was with me, great driver made me feel safe and was most professional towed my car to my nominated garage”

“As always when dealing with OneCall, the initial service and handling was dealt with efficiently, courteously and well. The recovery was also handled and carried out very smoothly and efficiently by the gentleman who came and assisted me, he was very polite, efficient and friendly. The only slight criticism I would have, would be in the initial communications from OneCall when dispatching and organising the actual recovery and giving me an estimated time of recovery. As initially I was given one company and an eta, then a short time later I was allocated another company and another eta and subsequently this second eta came and went, but as mentioned above the recovery gentleman was exceptional, efficient and courteous. Ultimately I only waited 2hrs 45 mins for my recovery and the weather was lovely, but as this is a review I feel compelled to mention everything.”

“Recovery driver James from anglia was extremely helpful, sorted the problem really quickly. He also gave me some very good tips. James went out of his way to follow me home to make sure I got home safely. Wish there were more people like him around.”

“Call was answered promptly and told that I would receive an email and text immediately giving me further instructions for me to complete full details of the breakdown and what my preferred solution would be. Details were given and returned. I then received a further message within minutes giving me the name of the recovery company and an ETA of 1.5 hours. I was subsequently contacted by the recovery driver just before the 1.5 hours that he would be another half-an-hour. I was able to track the recovery vehicle, which was reassuring. The wheel was replaced and I was able to get home, which was a relief. Although the whole scenario took longer than I would have hoped for, I was content in the knowledge that I was kept updated during the whole process.”
